Well worth the very long drive (2 days) to get here We had been looking for a particular model of Mercedes on the internet and locally. He always responded quickly. He probably thought there is no way someone will drive 950 miles to get a car, yet, from the very beginning he treated us as if we were right outside his door. He even offered to fly us up and give us a night at the Eldorado resort & Casino (nice place). In the end, we drove our trade-in car up there so they gave us a nice credit on the purchase. The reason: they would have had to spend a lot of money sending us the new car and retrieving our trade-in. We had a few issues on delivery day, but the Manager, Greg Miciotto, was on top of everything and went out of his way to get things set right. We definitely feel that the long two day drive each way was worth it and would do it again. They worked hard to get to us a fair deal and when we were ready to buy Karen came in on her day off to help us "seal the deal". She took the time and stayed pass closing to show us all the features of the car and how to use them. We are very pleased and will continue to do business with this dealership! After putting almost 23,000 miles on it during the first year, I decided that I really wanted a car with a bit more muscle and a few more "bells and whistles". I called Cathy and asked her if she might be able to locate a C350 for me. She called back a few days later to let me know that she had just taken delivery of two 2011 C350 models. You have to understand that I actually live in the Dallas area, where we have two competing dealers. Regardless, Holmes/Cathy came through on getting me EXACTLY what I wanted while beating the "big city" competitors on the price. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with Holmes, with Cathy, and with the car itself! With service and responsiveness like that, I see no reason to go anywhere but Holmes...even when I live in another state. On another note, I also have to commend the Holmes service department. These guys have really bent over backwards to accommodate servicing my car on short notice. Since I'm not local to Shreveport, I am only in town when visiting family. Holmes service department always makes time to "fit me into the schedule", even when I haven't had the forethought to make an appointment in advance. This is something that I really appreciate. Secondly, our salesperson, Cathy, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about each car we looked at. They were very fair with our trade-in value as well as the price of the car we purchased. As far as the service department is concerned, we very much appreciate them standing by their word and fixing a couple of small items that were agreed upon at purchase. The work was done to perfection and in a very timely manner. A special thanks to Harrison, our service associate.
