I took my 2005 SL500 into the dealer since the electronic functions (doorlocks from key fob, trunk opening, top going down, etc) were not working. It appeared the secondary battery in the trunk was bad, so functions (doorlocks from key fob, trunk opening, top going down, etc) were not working. It appeared the secondary battery in the trunk was bad, so I requested it be replaced. Unfortunately after I got the car back with a new battery and had left the dealer, I found none of those functions were working. While they had installed a new battery, the technician did not do any testing to insure that the initial described problems were fixed. I have had to reschedule another appointment three weeks later for the service people to complete the process and get everything working as it is supposed to. Finally the other issue is once my car was "ready" and the bill paid, it took the staff over 10 minutes to deliver the car to the pickup point at the service department. More

We were anxious about having a repair on a vehicle that is working perfectly, but there has been a smog related recall outstanding for some time.
