Disappointing service I've been taking my car for service to this dealership since I bought it from them. I took it in last Thursday for a very loud, noticeable noise that I've been taking my car for service to this dealership since I bought it from them. I took it in last Thursday for a very loud, noticeable noise that occurs after the car has been sitting for a while, mainly first thing in the morning. I also asked the service advisor to repair the back pouch on the front passenger's seat, since one of the snaps came off. I was out of town on Friday when I received a text saying that the car was ready and the mechanics couldn't find anything wrong. My wife picked up the care on Friday where it sat in our garage all weekend. Fast forward to this morning when I drove the car again and sure enough, the airplane noise was back. And, the back pouch was not repaired either. I clearly told the service advisor that the engine noise occurred after the car had been sitting for a while. I find it very hard to believe that a mechanic wouldn't have heard or FELT the noise after letting the car sit overnight and taking it out for a test drive. Additionally, my request to fix the back pouch was completely ignored. I hate to take my Mercedes to a non-authorized service center, so I probably will be back. But this was certainly disappointing. At the very least, a phone call would have been nice to ask me more about the noise, rather than simply sending a text saying it was ready to be picked up. More
