Best car buying experience I found a pre-owned SLS for sale at Mercedes Benz of Tampa. I spoke with Julian Burt by phone as I live in Los Angeles. We had a deal worked out with I found a pre-owned SLS for sale at Mercedes Benz of Tampa. I spoke with Julian Burt by phone as I live in Los Angeles. We had a deal worked out within 1 hour and I placed a deposit via a website link sent to my e-mail. First, Julian was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the car. There was no pressure from him to buy the car. He simply answered all my questions. I then flew in to Tampa and was greeted at the airport by Kevin Cao. As the airport is literally around the block from the airport(TPA), it was a short ride to the dealership. My SLS was parked in what appeared to be a separate, enclosed "car delivery" area of the dealership. My car had obviously been detailed, gas tank full, and was ready for a test drive. After a fun test drive, we returned to find all the paperwork ready for my review and to be signed with Jared White, the finance service manager. This is typically the most dreaded part of my car buying experience and the person with this title usually tries hard to sell the "extras" like extended warranty, etc. This was not the case. Jared was, like Julian and Kevin, extremely pleasant to deal with. I was in and out of Jared's office within 10 minutes. While I looked around their parts department for some accessories for my new(pre-owned) car, I helped myself to a delicious strawberry smoothie created by one of two baristas manning their on-site cafe. It was complimentary for their customers. As I was driven back to the airport, I told myself that even though I live in Los Angeles, I will call Mercedes of Tampa to buy my daughter's car in about 6 months. They were that good. When I landed at the Los Angeles airport, I checked my e-mail and saw that there was an update from the dealership that my auto transport company had picked up the SLS around 5:00pm that day. There was an attachment in the e-mail which I opened, and it was a photo of me standing next to my SLS which Kevin had taken earlier in the day. All I can say is "thank you" for a great deal on the SLS and a great buying experience. By the way, Mercedes Benz of Tampa "under promises and over delivers". There is always some hesitation in buying a car sight unseen. My SLS was absolutely immaculate, and its condition was better than described to be by phone. Finally, a "thank you" to the general sales manager, Ron Wordon, who approved the great price on my car and made sure that my experience at Mercedes Benz of Tampa was nothing short of amazing.
