This dealership is dishonest, do not give them your business. My wife and I recently went into the Mercedes dealership in Tampa, FL located at 4400 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614. We took her ve business. My wife and I recently went into the Mercedes dealership in Tampa, FL located at 4400 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614. We took her vehicle in on a Saturday to get the vehicle serviced. While we were waiting for the service to be completed, my wife fell in love with a new 2024 Mercedes. We decided to purchase this vehicle from the dealership the same day. Unfortunately, the service was already underway, and we were charged $800. The vehicle that had the service done was used as a trade in for the new vehicle. While we discussed the new vehicle purchase, we talked with this dealership about being reimbursed the $800. The salesperson, manager and finance representative all assured us this would not be a problem and we would get our $800 back. So, on good faith we completed the purchase of the new 2024 vehicle with the caveat that we would get our $800 back. They assured us they would mail us the check for $800 in the coming weeks. After several weeks had passed my wife reached out to the dealership and again was told the check would be mailed. A few more weeks went by, and we still had not received the check. She called the manager and was told that he would return her phone call to resolve this issue. He never called, she called back and was again promised a return call and never received one. It’s now been a few months since we purchased the vehicle and we have not received a check for the $800 reimbursement or a phone call explaining why. I even went on the dealer website and contact them with my complaint, and they still didn’t respond. We are beyond frustrated, because we had 3 separate Mercedes employees lie directly to our face to get the sale finalized. Now that the vehicle is purchased, they don’t even have the courtesy to return phone calls. We planned on buying multiple Mercedes vehicles in the future but based on how we’ve been treated I do not want to conduct further business with a dishonest organization. The customer service we’ve experienced has been atrocious. I even went filed a complaint with the Mercedes corporate office and they told me I had to work it out with the dealership. Yesterday, the General Manager Pedro called my wife and told her it was our fault because we didn't get it in writing. So, they're blaming the customer for their dishonest actions. Gavin made sure to coordinate with the sales manager (Liam) and Finance (Jay) to make sure it was worth my time to drive past my local dealerships and make the trip from Orlando. I want to thank Gavin and the entire staff for respecting my time and expediting the purchase once I arrived in Tampa.
