I visited Mercedes Benz of Tampa Florida initially via online. I was very happy with the professional response and ability to schedule a test drive at my convenience. I was first contacted by Andrew and found my experience to be very casual (appreciated)and professional. I received a follow up email from Tom Fallon and was informed Andrew was no longer with the company however I was introduced to Simon who was very accommodating to my schedule. I had already had the opportunity to visit other dealers for comparable luxury vehicles but was not welcomed or impressed by the interaction from the other dealers i.e. BMW....Simon answered all of my questions and made my decision an easy one. The professionalism and approachability I felt at the Mercedes Benz dealership of Tampa was above all other new vehicle experiences I have had in the past. I have had the opportunity to call back to ask questions of Simon and the genuineness that I have been met with ingrains my loyalty to the Mercedes Benz brand. The service department was friendly when I called to schedule pickup for window tint (Hazel ) and Jackie who was able to help me navigate the features of my new C250 after the initial set up. I went to the Benz dealership in St. Petersburg the day before and ended up leaving after I was offended by the sales and finance tactics. I researched dealerships throughout the state and decided to go to Tampa because they had the best selection of cars. From the moment I arrived, the experience from one dealership to the other was like night and day. Kern was a class act. I got the information I needed and I understood that he would meet my needs right away. I spent 5 hours there and test drove 5 cars. I got a much better car at a better price than was a consideration in St. Pete. Zack in finance was great to work with. He got me the best rate Mercedes offered and was simply a pleasure to deal with. He was knowledgeable and friendly. My husband will be in the market for a vehicle soon. We will definitely be working with these guys again. More
We leased a 2014 C250 from Mercedes of Tampa back at the end of September 2013. We were originally looking to purchase a used C Class, but we could not find one with the options we wanted. Jared offered to price us a quote for a lease which we were skeptical on at first since we have never leased before. Jared was very polite and made sure that we were comfortable while in their showroom especially since I had a horrible headache that day. Jared listened to what we were looking for in options and we agreed upon what I felt was a good price without the usually salesman games from other dealerships. He found a vehicle that had the options we were looking for and the color combination as well. We took delivery that following weekend and that went through nearly flawless in the process. The only hiccup was while in finance it was apparent that the two sides of the house had not communicated to each other about our agreed upon deal. So we were quoted a higher payment that did not include the prepaid maintenance which was agreed upon in the price. I pulled out the invoice that I was emailed to me earlier in the week from Jared. Ryan quickly corrected the mistake with no fuss. This may seem minor but had I not pointed out the error I am not sure that it would have been corrected. This was one of the reasons why I did not rate the dealership as high as I did Bert Smith BMW. The rest of the delivery process went very well. The staff was always very friendly and their facility is immaculate which is what you expect from a Mercedes dealer. I did notice that after we got the car home that the sunroof had a thick film of dirt on the inside and in fact it had suction cup marks from being installed at the factory. There was also shavings on the trunk carpet from the manufacturing process that had not been vacuumed. Jared offered to have the vehicle detailed again at no extra charge, which he did but a new Mercedes should not have this. After having the car for a week, we began to notice that the IPod would skip randomly while playing a song. We brought this to Jared’s attention and he came and picked up our vehicle in order for it to be checked out. They replaced the IPod cable and told us that the problem had been taken care of. After getting the car back and driving it for ten minutes the IPod began to skip again. We contacted Jared and he said he would bring it to the attention of management in order for it to be addressed. The next day we received a call from the service manager, John, informing us that they need to get with the corporate side of Mercedes in order to come up with a plan of action. We were told that the following Monday we would be hearing back from them about how they would proceed. Well Monday came and went with no calls from anyone. At midday Tuesday, we still had not heard anything back. So we began to call them to find out what would be going on and left several messages on everyone’s phones. We got no phone calls back that afternoon from anyone. At this point the IPod skipping had become progressively worse. It was not until my wife called on Wednesday morning and left an angry message that we got a call back informing us that they would be picking the car up. My wife did talk to Bernard Freedman that evening about the lack of communication. He said that he would address it the next day. She was told that they remembered us and that we were the couple that are very particular about their vehicles, which is a polite way of saying you’re a pain. Now this was the second service loaner vehicle that they had bought us and the first once was clean and had no problems, but the second one was a different story. My wife drove the loaner a couple miles down the road and the low tire pressure light came on for all four tires. All of the tires we more than 10 lbs. of air pressure below the manufacture recommended inflation. So I had to fill the tires up with air and reset the tire pressure monitor. The interior of the vehicle had spilled coffee in the center console, garbage in the door pockets, and a sticky dirty feeling on the steering wheel (wet wipe was brown after wiping the steering wheel). Since we were going to have the vehicle for the weekend as they wanted to really go through our vehicle’s IPod issue. I decided to clean the car out which took me about an hour. We did not say anything their loaner because we had become increasingly frustrated with the situation and simple wanted our vehicle fixed right. The following Monday I called Dustin and he informed me that they had reinstalled the software for the head unit and it appeared that the skipping had stopped. We got our car back on Tuesday and so far no more skipping which we are very grateful for. One thing that did surprise me was that our vehicle came back dirty with water spots all over it for sitting outside. I found this quite surprising because Bert Smith BMW and Mercedes of Sarasota washes your vehicle every time it is in for service. To sum it all up, I would consider Mercedes of Tampa for another purchase in the future since their sales side was very good. However, I find that the service side of the house has a lack of attention to detail which you come to expect from any Mercedes, BMW, or Audi dealer. For that we will be using another dealership for service in the future. More
Overall experience was VERY GOOD to GREAT. They were quick & efficient. Daniel Bowerman, our salesman, has followed up with us & I feel I can freely call him with any car related issues. This is the first time I've leased a car..Although we went through the leasing process quickly (it was late Sat. afternoon... dealership very busy) Adil Zidouhia helped us to feel comfortable with our decision to lease the E350. I also feel free to call Adil with any problems should they arise. The car is a pleasure to drive. More

Honestly the car sold itself, but what really sold me was how everyone was so friendly and willing to make you feel right at home without being too pushy. Mr. Robert Weisgal introduced himself as Mr. Wiseguy, and was friendly as can be. He was kind enough to answer any questions I had and I was able to test drive the car the same day of my first visit. I really only wanted to see what this new 2014 Mercedes CLA 250 looked like, & of course I knew once I sat it in, the deal was done! My other encounters with the Director of Finance, Mr. Adil Zidouhia, Miss Jaden Batten, Mr. Dave Zupkosky & Mr. Casey Cash made me realize that I was definitely making the right choice. Even after I purchased the vehicle, I had to call Robert because of an issue I had and on his day off he immediately texted me Dave's number from the Service Department and before I can ever even give Dave a call, I received a call from him letting me know everything was taken care of, thanks Dave. Now, that's customer service!!! And by the way, let me not forget to mention the valet guys...I don't know their correct titles, but Pablo who received me was courteous, kind and very professional & last but not least. there was a very nice lady in the retail department(forgive me for not remembering her name) who was quite helpful & very friendly, helping me look at whatever I wanted to shop for. And as a woman, as most of you know...we love to shop!!! Thank you for you kindness. I have to admit, if I ever want to change careers, I would definitely consider working for such a prestigious corporation as the Mercedes Benz Dealership in Tampa Fl.
