I had a very disappointing experience at Mercedes-Benz of Tampa due to my interaction with Jose Perez, who is now a manager there. I originally worked with him when he was a manager at a Hyundai dealershi Tampa due to my interaction with Jose Perez, who is now a manager there. I originally worked with him when he was a manager at a Hyundai dealership while I was considering purchasing a Hyundai Kona. I ultimately decided not to move forward with that purchase, which is completely within my right as a customer. When I later visited Mercedes-Benz of Tampa with genuine interest in buying a vehicle, I was shocked by how I was treated. Jose Perez was rude and unprofessional, and I was essentially told that he would not sell me a Mercedes because I chose not to buy the Kona previously. This felt personal, inappropriate, and completely out of line—especially for a luxury brand dealership. A customer’s past decision not to purchase a different vehicle at a different dealership should never be used against them. I expected a high level of professionalism from Mercedes-Benz, but this experience was the opposite. I would strongly caution others and hope the dealership addresses this behavior More
