This one-start review is for Frank Makrin the services manager at Inskip Mercedes-Benz of Warwick. Most Mercedes-Benz dealers really care about their customers and offer a complimentary services loaner wh manager at Inskip Mercedes-Benz of Warwick. Most Mercedes-Benz dealers really care about their customers and offer a complimentary services loaner when you have service done. Well I own a Sprinter Van and it is true that Mercedes for some reason says this vehicle does not qualify. BUT I choose to go to this dealership because the first time I went looking for a service partner they told me that because this is my everyday car they would be more than happy to provide a loaner when I needed service. I said any car works I just need to get back to work. I had to take my van in because of a recall, it is a 2019 and there have been many recalls. The last two times I took it in for recalls it should have not taken longer than an hour and they took around three. So this time I requested a loner because I need to get back to work, and I knew this service was not easy they have to replace the back brake calipers and two other recalls as well. So this is when I encountered Frank Makrin who said to me "the policy is no you can not have a loner" I said I had been told by someone I thought was a manager this would not be a problem. He said who was it? I said it was a woman I could not remember her name. He said no women are managers and what I was told was wrong. I said nicely I understand the policy but I had gotten a loaner in the past and he said that should not have happened. I pleaded with him as this is a recall and I need to get back to work he said sorry there is nothing I can do for you. I will not give you a loaner. I said I know COVID has caused a shortage of cars and that I could bring the van when they had a loaner if that was the issue. He said that was not the issue the policy says you can have a loaner. WOW, I was surprised a manager would not help me out when I knew he could. I said are you sure you can not do anything for me? NO. Can someone drive me back? Where? I said Pawtucket. He said yes someone can do that. OK great. Frank my wife was looking for a new car and I said well cross Mercedes off the list because I expect better customer services from a brand like this. I also want to say Joe Dias who is the services person assigned to me is five star all the way. Everyone else at this dealership has been great including the very nice men who drove me back to work. Oh and one more fun fact my van was not done in one day so that leaves me with no car and yes - some people still have to drive to work everyday. More
