from my yelp review - WORST experience that is still on-going. Backstory is that my car is having issues with the battery being completely dead after not using the car for 1-2 days, making it unable on-going. Backstory is that my car is having issues with the battery being completely dead after not using the car for 1-2 days, making it unable to start unless I jump it. If the car is driven everyday there is no issue. This is what I told the service rep Richard Airada. I also explained to him that i believe the battery is being drained from something because both of the batteries in the car were replaced less than a year ago. I also stated that my 2 USB ports were not working in the center console. He stated to me that it would be $295 to diagnose what the issue is with my car and if I wanted them to fix it then that $295 would be put towards the repair, if not, then I just pay $295 for a diagnosis. I get a text from him stating that they need to do an additional test that will be another $295 for them to find out where the battery is being drawn from. This is NOT what was told to me in the beginning. I was told that I pay $295 to find out what the issue is, no one said anything about paying for each separate test that they want to do, especially when i stated that it was most likely the issue. Richard then told me that he was JUST advised that it would be two separate diagnostics, so he didn't inform me of that before? Why would he not mention additional cost prior to them taking my car? Like I said, I was told that it was $295 and they would find out what was wrong with my car. That was it. Fast forward a few days and they say that everything checked out so the car should be working fine because they just had to change a code or something like that for the new battery that was replaced. He then tells me I can pickup my car. I asked about the USB ports and what was the issue with that so i could know if i wanted them to fix it prior to me picking up the car, and he stated that it was a separate issue so i would have to pay ANOTHER $295 even though i had said this in the beginning. After arguing the same thing, at this point I was over it so I just came to pick up my car. When i get to my car the check engine light is on... I should have known something was obviously still wrong with the same issue. I let Richard know and he asks for my keys and drives to the back without even saying anything to me. I'm sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes with no idea what is happening with my car or anything what so ever so I ask another rep(i forgot his name) to help me out and figure out what is going on with my car, this guy was very nice and let me know super fast when he went to the back to check and said my car would be back in about 5 minutes. As i'm waiting another nice person who helped me at the cashier came up to me(forgot his name) and checked up on me asking if they didn't bring my car to the front, i explained what happened and he apologized for it. Finally, my car comes out and Richard says that the check engine light was not related to the original issue and they cleared the code. Naturally, I asked what the code was for? He tells me it would cost another $295 for him to tell me and he was not allowed to say. I feel like i'm being pranked and I literally could not believe it. 1 day later, my car doesn't start and the battery is dead lol. I don't know what the issue is because they did not tell me anything. We will see where this goes. Update: after calling and complaining about what happened, the manager Rian said that I can take my car back in and they'll run an additional diagnostic on the car, but anything after that, they will charge for each diagnostic like it should have been explained in the beginning. They don't understand that the information was withheld from me, it was NOT explained in the beginning. I've explained time and time again that I was told $295 will tell me what's wrong with the car. WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND? He stated that he could not give a refund... I don't want a refund... I WANT TO KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH THE CAR More
