About two years ago, I was in the market for a new vehicle and was looking at the option of doing the cash for clunkers program. Although my vehicle did not qualify for the program, I ended up gettin vehicle and was looking at the option of doing the cash for clunkers program. Although my vehicle did not qualify for the program, I ended up getting a fantastic deal. Danny knew that I was looking for a mini van to cart around my little ones and took me on a test drive. I purchased a 2008 Chevy Uplander from Danny Dunanski and it is working out great for us! It was affordable and is very reliable. I was unsure how the financing was going to work as it was my first time financing a vehicle. Danny was wonderful! He called me every day to update me on how things were coming and always answered his phone right away (or returned my call promptly) if I had any questions. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience! I'd recommend him to anyone that I know is looking to buy! More
In August, 2010 we drove into Merit Chevrolet looking for a new vehicle. We were greeted by a very energetic young man, Danny Dunaski. He asked what we were looking for - went in and got the keys and within 5 minutes I was taking a Chevrolet Equinox for a test drive. Danny was very friendly and answered all the questions we had. Danny was a very intrical part to us purchasing a vehicle from Merit Chevrolet. His enthusiam for his job and no pressure on us to buy the vehicle was a big plus. You can tell he enjoys his job. When I brought my vehicle in for some work, Danny let me use his car so I wouldn't have to wait for 2 hours for mine to be done. We came back in January and purchased a car for our son and yes, we dealt with Danny and he was just great, once again. We have called Danny on different occasions with questions on both vehicles and he is always friendly and very helpful. We would definitely recomment Merit Chevrolet and Danny Dunaski to our friends. Almost three years ago I went to Merit to trade-in my Chevy S-10 pick up for a 2008 Cobalt. It was during the first gas-price spike so finding the specific model Cobalt I wanted was tough. But Danny Duna Chevy S-10 pick up for a 2008 Cobalt. It was during the first gas-price spike so finding the specific model Cobalt I wanted was tough. But Danny Dunaski searched and bargained and got me my brand new Cobalt from over 350 miles away! Plus gave me a great trade-in price for my S-10. I appreciated Danny's hard working attitude and friendliness so much that when I needed a used truck two years later, I didn't even think twice about working with anyone else. As someone who's loyal to the Chevy name and has tried different dealers, I would recommend Danny and the rest of the sales team for their value in their customers and the postitive attitude that makes you want to come back for each vehicle purchase you will make! I had my son go to Merit Chev where he bought a 2011 loaded pick up truck. Dan Dunaski was the contact sales person. We told Dan we were looking at a Chev, a Toyota, and a Ford. We said we wanted to see a loaded truck, and test drive it. Then we were going to the other two dealers to do the same. Dan spent about four hours with us and one of the vehicles was the bosses demo. Then as we said we were on our way to the other dealers. We went to Toyota and did the same thing. Only they had me put $500 down to bring in the truck we wanted to see, and then come back tomorrow. We went back to Dan Dunaski and told him what we did at Toyota, he was then asked to get the financial manager and run some numbers so we could tell what the montly cost would be. By the way we told him that we more than likely would go for the Toyota. After another couple hours we had met all the folks on the sales floor, and met with the finance manager, and walked out with a very close estimate on the cost for the boss's demo. Dan said, good luck, I see you tomorrow when you come back to sign for this truck. We went to Toyota, got to see no truck, got a runaround why they were to busy to respect the $500 ernest money, and couldn't show us the top P.U. we were going to buy. We were outa there. Never went to Ford. Went right back to Dan and bought the bosses truck. It is a beauty! A week later, my daughter totaled out my Park Avenue. So I went right back to Dan, told him my needs. And walked away trading in my Saturn. I left with a 2010 Suburban and an Impala. I was treated honestly, respectfuly, and was openly communicated with. I tell every one who asks, Go to Merit, See Dunaski and he will take care of you!. If he is not there, don't worry-grab anyone they all will treat you well. The Sales floor is great, The service writers are awesome and go out of there way to help you. (I also have seven years past experience with working with Volkswagon and Buick as a journeyman, New Car Prep mananger, Warranty Manager, and Service Writer). So I judged Dan on his communication, conduct, and integrity towards us as potential customers. He did his professional job, and like the others I met there, injected the personal extras to be on the road to start a friendship not just a sale. So I think you get the idea, but if your not sure then you should go to Maplewood Toyota and drop some money on a top ride and wait till they are not to busy or put out to work with you, or did I mean tell you how its going to be at their convienince. Go see Danny at Merit, I guarantee it will be a good start. More
I recently purchased a 2009 Chevy Silverado from out of state. This dealership was very receptive to all of my questions over the phone and described my vehicle purchased exactly as it looked when I flew state. They were very personable and helpful when I came from out of town. Dan went above and beyond his job duties to help me with this purchase of this truck. He made the sale from out of state as easy as if I were right next store. All the paperwork was ready when I arrived and I was on my way home back to New York with in a couple of hours. The hospitality of both Dan and his dealership were outstanding. I would consider purchasing from them again in the future. More

When the went to go pick up their new car I decided to go with them to meet Danny, as soon as I met him I knew they were not kidding, he was very personable and knowledgeable about the car they were buying. In January of 2011 I was in a car accident and my car was totaled, my parents suggested calling Danny instantly, there was no doubt in my mind that Danny was the person I wanted to work with in finding what kind of car I wanted, I ended up getting a used 07 Impala. Again he was not pushy and let me test drive multiple cars before coming to a decision, he was very patient. I would recommend Merit and Danny to anybody looking for a new or used car or any auto body service. I also had to take in my car to get a dent popped out of the fender, and I did not have a ride to leave and Danny let me borrow his own personal car until mine was finished, I consider Danny a personal friend now, not just my car sales man.
