Metro listed the Sienna we purchased before they had a chance to service and detail it completely. We had been searching for a van of this year and mileage, so we emailed about it immediately. We agreed to buy it at a certain price before they knew the exact scope of the service needed. The van ended up needing nine hundred ADDITIONAL dollars of repairs before we could finalize the sale, but they honored their original price with no pressure, no guilt-trips, and no whining. Ken Karakula was our salesman, and we appreciated his approach. He was honest with us, communicated well, and frankly I'd have him over for dinner any day. He really is that good to work with. AND THEN he passed us off to Jon Griffith, the financial dude. He was hilarious and the whole thing was fast, efficient, and fun. I hate buying cars because it's such a hassle, but Metro made this a fun experience. The price is great, their service is wonderful, and we'll go back to buy another car one day. More
Tedd was very, very helpful to me. He saved me quite a bit of money, found a car that fit my needs and budget, and did it a very short period of time. My wife and I went to Metro Toyota on a Saturday to look at and drive a 2014 Rav4. We met Tom Farho and he showed us the Rav4 we liked. After answering our questions we took a test drive. What I really liked about Tom was that once he knew the car was for my wife, he paid more attention to her and her questions than he did to me. He didn't ignore me in anyway, it just surprised us that he actually listened to who was going to be driving the car. After the test drive we went inside to discuss options and some numbers. At that point Tom picked up on that I was the one to talk to about the numbers and adjusted his conversation appropriately. After all our questions were answered we filled out a credit application as I wanted to know exact numbers before we make any decision. After that we left without any pressure from anyone to try and stay and stuff us in a car TODAY! Tom communicated with us the next week with some additional documents that we needed to provide plus I had to take my trade-in to the dealership for an appraisal. The next day Tom called with our firm approval from the bank and we were going to come in on Saturday and work out the specific numbers. My wife and I were both wanting to proceed so I called Tom and arranged to go in on Friday. We were running late and didn't get to the dealership until 5:30 p.m. (They close at 6 p.m.). We sat down with Tom to work out the specific numbers. This is where Joe came in to the picture. My wife and I were both very happy how they presented their numbers and never felt any pressure from them. After working Joe over a bit we settled on a price that we were okay with. I think the price was fair. I'm sure if I would have kept pushing I may have been able to save a little more money but, as I said, I thought the price was fair. We were out of the dealership and driving home in our new 2014 Toyota Rav4 by 6:45. Since we rushed to get out, Tom even offered to come to us sometime over the next few days to answer anymore questions that we may have on the vehicle knowing that we lived over 30 miles away. All I can say is that I have never spent so little time in a dealership to purchase a vehicle and not feel like I was beaten up. I would refer Tom Farho to anyone. More
Ken Karakula is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of used cars and particularly in working with you as individuals to make sure he finds you a vehicle that meets your needs. We really appreciated his at used cars and particularly in working with you as individuals to make sure he finds you a vehicle that meets your needs. We really appreciated his attention to detail, friendliness every time we worked with him, and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure all the aspects of the sale were completed satisfactorily. We have worked with Metro Toyota since 1987 and have now bought 4 Camrys and 1 Corolla. We simply wouldn't want to choose another vehicle other than a Camry given the long record of quality and performance. The dealership always takes care of you in the service department as well. More
I consider myself very fortunate that Ken Karakula answered the phone when I called to enquire about the availability of a vehicle. Ken then changed his plans so he could return and work with me personally. Bringing many years of experience, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was looking at and was very helpful during the entire purchasing process. He made it very easy and seamless for my wife and I to make an intelligent decision. We worked with Jon Griffith as well to finalize the purchase and he too was great to work with, providing the information we needed for the financing and option choices. Overall my wife and I are very pleased with our experience. More
My second Camry purchase was as enjoyable a buying experience as the first. Dan Taylor is professional and knowledgeable, Chris (sales manager) helped me with a tire upgrade, and Jon Griffith made th experience as the first. One thing you notice about Metro Toyota is there is an air of integrity and honesty. No fakes here wearing a plaid suit and a loud tie!
