Good deal for student with limited cash to spend Our daughter is a recent college grad and will begin paying student loans next month on a very limited income. Her previous car was totaled in August Our daughter is a recent college grad and will begin paying student loans next month on a very limited income. Her previous car was totaled in August. She was hoping to find a reliable vehicle that might last her a few years, but her funds were limited to $8,000. She found a 2012 Kia Soul online with under 83,000 miles on it.. She thought she'd like it but total 'out the door' would be about $2,000 over her limit. Ken Karakula worked with us and reduced the 'out the door' price so that she would be able to afford the car. He gave her his cell number, the CarFax, specs etc. so she could go home and think about it. After checking insurance costs etc., she texted him after hours to say she would like the car. We returned this morning. Closing process took about an hour and we were out the door, with a full tank of gas and everything in place. She was able to go back to Grand Rapids with her "new" car and not have to worry about further debt or returning to pick the car up at another time. Like the earlier reviewer, our experience was friendly, fast and fair. More
