The sales associates we dealt with no longer work there and over the years, we have dealt with several different service personnel. All our experiences there have been pleasurable, both in sales and service. Their service is top-notch as they always strive to please the customer trying to achieve the best possible customer ratings - as if they are in continuous competition with other Acura service departments. As a result, the customer feels like they are being pampered when their car is in the shop and afterwards, are confident that the work was done right and professionally. Their free offering of loaner cars and the complimentary wash/vacuum after each service are extra added bonuses. More
"A" for Acura! I am driving my 5th Acura, all purchased and serviced at Herb Connolly. As long as Jim Brown is the service manager I am sticking with Acuras. Jim is top notch, he runs an efficient and friendly department which has given me great confidence over the years in the many cars I have owned. Most of all, Jim is a problem solver in addition to being a genuinely nice person. When I was faced with the decision of whether or not to part with my beloved 11 year old CL in March Jim worked with me to find the right solution. Ultimately it was time to move on and he referred me to Dennis Murray. I am very particular about what I want right down to the color (outside and in) and Dennis worked with me to locate the one car I wanted. This dealership is unlike any other I have experienced. They are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and kind. I guess that's easy when you have a good product. More
Good Car Buying Experience at Herb Connolly Acura We had a wonderful experience purchasing a pre-owned Acura MDX from Aurelio Pabon. Our intent that day was to only test drive a MDX & not purchase. We had a wonderful experience purchasing a pre-owned Acura MDX from Aurelio Pabon. Our intent that day was to only test drive a MDX & not purchase. We left owning the car. Aurelio made it such a nice experience. He was professional, friendly, was knowledable about the car & option package. Aurelio was professioinal & not pushy. At the conclusion of the test drive he stepped aside & let us discuss what we wanted to do. One of the things that closed the deal was that we had wanted to compare it with a Lexus RX350. You happened to have one on the lot so Aurelio asked us if we wanted to test drive it or sit in it. We sat in the Lexus & then decided to go with the MDX. When picking up the car Aurelio spent a good amount of time with us reviewing all the options in the car & how to operate it. By the time I left the lot I was confident driving my new MDX. After purchasing my car I returned 2 days later to have it inspected. It was an easy & painless transaction. Pulled into the service area, they took the car, did the inspection. I was in & out in about 15-20 minutes. I will probably continue to do my service needs at Herb Connolly. This was one of the nicest dealerships I have dealt with, enjoyed working with Aurelio, will recommend it to my friends, & definitely return. More

Jimmie did a terrific job keeping us up-to-date on delivery and actually got our RDX to us earlier than planned. Little things mean a lot and rescuing the recycling sticker from our trade-in and offering to cancel the old plates with the registry without being asked were real-world examples of customer attention. They weren't major things or even necessary but they were things we didn't need to deal with later. At delivery, Kim was wonderful explaining all the protection packages, again without pressure. This was an overall very good experience helped by the fact they sell wonderful vehicles. More

As I’m sure you know, most people walk in to buy a car with trepidation as they just don’t know how it’s going to go. Well, they don’t have to worry at your place. As my granddaughter would say “easy peasy”. From the get go Neil Finch was most courteous in greeting us. Neil then he passed us to Dennis Murray. I don’t know what I can say about Dennis, but he is just the most wonderful person I’ve dealt with at any dealer. His sense of humor, easy going attitude, and helpfulness goes beyond expectations. Making the deal was painless and quick; I am very satisfied that I got a good deal on a great car. Today, we went through the finance part and final payment with Kim Fiore. She was just so pleasant and delight to work with as well. Dennis then spent quite a bit of time showing Sally all the features of her new car; something we really appreciated since there is so much technology in the car. Sally and I just loved the guy!! Very happy with Herb Connolly Acura I gave Herb Connolly Acura a high rating for several reasons. I had initially dealt with another Acura dealership closer to my home, but ended up visi I gave Herb Connolly Acura a high rating for several reasons. I had initially dealt with another Acura dealership closer to my home, but ended up visiting HCA after receiving a competitive online quote from them and another Acura dealer in Boston via TrueCars. Both dealers' quotes thru TrueCar were considerably lower than the best quote I received from the dealership closest to my home, which apparently does not employ TrueCars. The Boston dealership offered an even more competitive quote via a phone call but upon visiting the dealership, I was disappointed to find that their on hand inventory did not include either of our desired colors. Visiting HCA last, I told the sales associate that I would buy a vehicle on the spot if they could match the lowest quote I had received previously, accepted my trade at a particular price, and had one of the two colors on the lot. HCA had one of the desired colors and matched the price and trade-in with an absolute minimum of time and discussion. So I was very happy with a very competitive price and decent trade for the vehicle I wanted, all with a minimum of fuss. An additional reason was the friendly and low-key demeanor of my sales associate, Jay Spaddy. Jay was pleasant to deal with, clear, and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all our questions and was available by phone and email after delivery. My last and perhaps biggest reason for the rating was how HCA handled a problem that we had with the vehicle several days after delivery. One of my sons inadvertently damaged the trunk gasket while we were returning him to school. Since my return route took me pretty close to HCA, I called Jay for his advice on how much time and expense it would require to repair the damage. Jay asked if he could call me back, and then quickly called back to tell me that if I could be at the dealership by 4:00 PM, the service manager promised to repair it that day. Wanting to avoid water damage and mustiness in the trunk, I immediately charted a course for HCA and arrived at about 3:50. The vehicle was in and out in less than 30 minutes. When I asked for the bill, I got a smile and a handshake instead. needless to say, my wife and I were very pleased. Although HCA is more than an hour's drive from our home, I hope to use HCA for any required repairs or warranty work simply because of their very clear commitment to customer satisfaction. More

The initial visit was ok but the sales person that was supposed to be there for the appointment was on his day off so we got John Romero he was new with not too much experience. We liked the SUV so we thought about it over night, the next day we wanted to purchase it so I tried to call but everyone that I tried to contact did not answer and their mail boxes were full so I could not leave a message, I finally got through to John the following day and left a deposit on the vehicle and said we would be there the next Friday to get the vehicle if the interest rate was good and the payments were to my liking sorun a credit check and find the best interest rate. I waited for them to call me back on that. They never called me back and a couple of days later I finally got a hold of them after several attempts only to find out that they never ran my credit report and had no info for me. So they ran my credit that day but they never called me and I had to go through the same thing again to try and talk to someone only to get their mail box that was full so the only way I could get someone was to talk to the secretary for the phones and she had to walk over there and have someone answer the phone, I was getting confused because I had no set person to talk to and every time it was someone different(very frustrating).So after a few days the payment was all set so I said have it ready for Saturday to pick up we would be there about 4:30 to 4:45 because of our work schedule and they said that was ok because they close at 5:30, we got there about 4:45 and we waited until 5:30 before someone waited on us and it was back to John. John brought the SUV around so we could see it(never explained any features or asked to setup the Bluetooth or any seat or steering wheel settings, lights radio etc.We went into the finance department and sat down with the finance lady and the first thing she said was you are 15 minutes late did you hit traffic or something and I said as a matter of fact I did, she barely talked to us and in the middle of doing up the paper work she says you know, I do not get paid overtime and it is getting late and I said the sales person said it was ok, at the end she argued with me about getting extended coverage for the SUV for extra because the warranty for the factory is not that good and does not cover much and in the hurry of the moment I agreed to get the extra coverage not thinking that the certified warranty had the extra coverage already for the vehicle. At the end she did not supply any documentation for the certified warranty, the car fax, she said the insurance was all set even though I did not talk to the insurance company so we got done and left. On our way home on the highway the SUV shook, there was almost no gas in the tank so we had to stop and get gas, there was a rattle while we drove on the highway and I pulled over to find out the license plates were loose (they did not use the right bolts, needed to be metric 7 mm bolts). The next morning my wife had to go to work and the SUV would not start and I called to let the sales person know but took an hour to get a hold of someone, finally talked to John and first he said call a wrecker and have it towed after I complained he found out to tell me to call the # on the driver’s side door so I did and they came out right away. (They were real good and it needed a jump). I set up to go back there for a third time for a service appointment on the following Thursday to have the tires balanced and they were to check the battery. On Wednesday the insurance company called me and they said they have Herb Connolly on the other line to have the insurance transferred over to the new SUV that I just bought (remember I had this SUV for almost a week now) so I told her I took delivery last Friday and she told me the vehicle was not insured for that time and I should not have driven it off the lot so that was a big mistake. When I got there for my appointment at 10:00 I let the service manager know I was here and told him I was not happy to have to come back here so soon and use a lot of fuel(80 miles each way) when the SUV Was a certified pre owned, should not have gone out that way and he had no comment, The service took 2 ½ hours, they balanced the tires and installed a new battery, they said there was grease on the rim from when they changed the cv boot before. They did not reset anything that changing the battery wiped out, I had to reset everything again myself that they never explained. I hunted down a sales rep and talked to him about the issues and the extra service contract they talked me into keeping it and they ended up extending it out to 84 months 100.000 miles bumper to bumper coverage(they said they could not take it off of the contract) contract was all done and sent to the bank. I had to almost beg for them to give me a certified pre owned warranty booklet and the car fax report, I told them about the insurance and they said those things happen sometimes. It has been 3 weeks that I had the SUV and have not heard from them at all, they never billed my credit card for the $1000.00 deposit. I just got 4 different letters from Chase bank showing a denial because of wrong info and for them asking for $40.000 for a loan (the loan should have been for 32000 and the bank denied that too because they said the vehicle is not worth what they are asking for a loan) they never said what bank they went through. I am very happy with the vehicle but I have never had such a difficult time with a dealership in my life, I would never go back to them or recommend them and their nightmare to anyone. Acura themselves are top notch and do not need that bad publicity Acura has a good reputation please keep it that way. More

I mean these two guys from the minute that I step foot into the dealership were so inviting, honest, extremely helpful and professional. They made my self and my wife feel so at ease from start to finish.. Not only we were able to get the car that we wanted but also the service. Jimmy was excellent very approchabable, comforty , expert advise and very helpful through the whole process. He understood my needs. RIch was truly an amazing person not only did he make sure that we got the best offer he did everything that he could to make sure that we walked out of the dealer with the best possible offer. I'm truly thankful for both of these guys... Their service was above and beyond my expectations.
