You'd be well advised to seek another dealer On December 30, I purchased a 2016 Sonata from Herb Connally. This was my second purchase from Connally, having bought a 2006 Sonata in 2005. The rece On December 30, I purchased a 2016 Sonata from Herb Connally. This was my second purchase from Connally, having bought a 2006 Sonata in 2005. The recent transaction was, in a word, appalling. From the start, blatant bait-and-switch tactics were used. First, the incentives were overstated. I asked why I couldn't get the incentive price. The salesman said that the price included other incentives for which I didn't qualify. Second, I had received a trade-in promotion email for my old Sonata promising me up to about $4500. I got $2000 - after negotiating up from $1500. The salesman said that the real value is based Black Book. I asked why Connally made such a ridiculously high offer to start. The dealership knew exactly what I owned having serviced it for 10 years. The car was in good condition and mileage was within the normal range. He shrugged his shoulders and said nothing. I should have left, but bought my Sonata anyway because I like and wanted the car. Another reason was convenience. The dealership (service dept.) is only two miles from my house. After we closed the sale, I got a temporary registration and had to return a week later for the permanent registration and inspection. The technician couldn't make the inspection because the VIN on the car and registration didn't match. A finance manager (Nick-something) had put the wrong VIN on the invoice, which was then copied onto the registration. It took over a week to get it sorted out. When I returned for the second and last time, I described the VIN mix-up to the sales manager. He just smiled and said "thanks for letting me know." Period. The entire transaction was unpleasant, unprofessional, and unacceptable. To conclude: I will not buy another Hyundai from Herb Connally. I will personally and on social media advise others to avoid the dealer. I stand behind everything I've described above, and am willing to share my experience directly with a Hyundai representative. More

He really took his time with me since this was only my second time ever purchasing a vehicle. He took me on a test drive, showed me all the buttons in the car and how they worked. He also made me smile. He didn't make me feel rushed or pressured to purchase a vehicle. He had great sympathy for my situation and he worked his magic for me. He handed me off to Mo they finance guy who also did a excellent job. He was about to get me a a 6% decrease on my interest rate than what was quoted to me at Kia. I was able to purchase a newer car, with all the bells and whistles that I wanted and low monthly payments. I really would recommend this dealer to anyone who maybe nervous about purchasing. Best dealer ever Repeat customer. Called Doug (owner) with my needs. Deal was done within 10 minutes over the phone. He located the color I wanted and I picked up the Repeat customer. Wens explained every detail about the car and the differences from my earlier car of the same model. Moral or the story- go to a family owned dealer where the family works there everyday. They care about the customer not just how many vehicles they sell in a month. They value repeat business More

Couldn't be more pleased with the way I was treated I was purchasing a car for my wife as a surprise for Christmas, her current car was literally rusting apart around her. Also she had just lost her job that she had had for 27 1/2 years because of company restructuring and was showing up for job interviews in a car that had the radiator tied up with a piece of rope. I wanted to do something to lift her spirits and surprise her and needed our communications to be very discrete. My wife and I share the same Apple ID so all the calls I make and I receive show up in the call log on her phone so that made the task of keeping this a secret even more difficult. But I was able to pull off the surprise due to the way the sales representative, finance manager as well as other personal at the dealership worked with me to keep this a surprise. I have to say I tried this with a different dealership and my wishes of not being contacted on my cell phone were not take seriously, I am so happy I made the switch to Herb Connolly Hyundai.
