It has been two weeks since we purchased our new car from Herb Connolly Hyundai, and we still DO NOT HAVE THE REGISTRATION OR OUR LOAN PAPERWORK. We have been told any number of bullshit stories by assistant sales manager Eric Porter, whose most recent excuse was that the car's title "was lost in the mail from the plant in Alabama." My next phone call will be to the Attorney General's office to report the dealership for fraud. Do NOT deal with these people; they are incompetent bunglers of the most extreme variety. More

I have waited a long time to get a new car. We traded our 1998 Escort SE in after putting the last of four children through college. We discovered that they had ADDED the price of our trade as well as our deposit to our payment. The interest rate was much higher and the quote of $550 per month was our payment for 60 months. When I returned the next day to have everything written out, and questioned how it could be so much higher than what was suggested on the Hyundai website, they admitted that they had ADDED to the price of the vehicle and given us a higher percentage loan. They said, "people like feeling that they've gotten a deal!" I felt scammed. We went directly to HERB CONNOLLY to get a quote. We, at that time, knew what the price should be and they were above board during the entire process. We felt that we could trust this dealership. We were able to get the limited with the navigation package AND sunroof for $475 for sixty three months. I could have chosen $496 for 60 months which would have STILL been less than Herb Chambers. Herb Connolly never tried any of these shady dealings on us. We just picked up the car today. Sean went over everything in the car before we left and was very thorough. We just arrived home and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new car. My husband has a Hyundai Tiberon which we bought at Herb Chambers 2006. We will NEVER return to Herb Chambers but will definitely be a loyal customer to HERB CONNOLLY. The Herb Connolly dealership is worthy of selling your cars. Hyundai makes a beautiful vehicle and we are extremely pleased. More

I recently decided that I was interested in buying a new car. I knew I was interested in the Hyundai Sonata Limited but had not driven it or looked at one up close. As soon as I walked into Herb Connolly car. I knew I was interested in the Hyundai Sonata Limited but had not driven it or looked at one up close. As soon as I walked into Herb Connolly Hyundai in Framingham, MA, Alex Kitts approached me and introduced himself. He was extremely friendly and was willing to hear out what I was looking for and my needs. I explained to him that I was interested in test driving the Sonata Limited and instead of spending time on other things, he went a grabbed the keys and got me on the road right away. He did not attempt to oversell the car. He simply pointed out all of the key elements on the car and took me on an appropriate drive that allowed me to test the car in different environments. After returning to the dealership, Alex sat down with me to discuss my budget and what I was comfortable spending on a new car. He worked through the numbers for me on several back and forth conversations and even worked with me on my trade in which was 2003 Saturn Ion with 120K miles on it. In the end, Alex worked with me to make the numbers work and I walked out that day with everything in order. The car was ready the same day but Alex held it for me over the weekend. He was excellent to work with and his follow-up has been exemplary. I will be sending anyone I know who is interested over to Herb Connolly and to Alex Kitts. Thanks for a great experience. More

I am a long-time customer of this dealership, and my family has bought 4 cars from them over the last 10 years. We just purchased a Sonata. We will no longer recommend Connolly for either sales or service. They have just lost two new sales from my family: My aging Accent will need to be replaced in the near future. I will go elsewhere. My son just bought a new Sonata from Mirak Hyundai, Arlington, based on my advice to stay away from Connolly. Why? Lack of response to a sales commitment, and a long history of overpriced service charges. Service issue first: Over the years for numerous service needs, I found I could check prices at other dealers and found them lower. Sometimes a lot lower. I would tell the service department I could go to xxx dealer for a lower price and Connolly service would match the price. Very annoying to have to go through that process. I stayed with them only for convenient location. My strongest issue is a response to a sales commitment. Both salesman and manager did not follow through. Sales people are experts at being friendly and helpful at getting a sale completed, so of course all my experiences with the sales staff were pleasant. That's expected. When we bought 2009 Hynudai Sonata I observed the carpets were worn. The salesman, Roy Porter, said - No problem, I'll get some for you. On delivery, the carpets were not there, and he said - I need to get some for you, it will take a few days and I'll let you know. I came in a week later with a question about a warranty detail and met Roy, asked about the carpets. He said I told you I'd get them, will have them soon. I said fine, just let us know when you have them. I came in a few days later to tell him my son was going to buy a new Hyunudai, very soon, and I would bring him in. Asked again, how are you doing with the carpet. Reply was - I told you I'd get them - will have them soon. A few days later - still no response - so I called and left a message I was very disappointed, and expected the carpets ASAP. I also called the sales manager and told him lack of response from Roy about the carpets was losing him a new Hyundai sale, and that we had bought 4 cars from Connolly and a new sale to my son would go elsewhere. I said I expected the carpets ASAP. His reply was the sale ("certified") needed to have the carpet item included in the sales document. This is NOT the way to treat a customer. At all steps of the sale the carpets were mentioned, and the salesman handled it as if it were a routine thing, and did not include it in the sales document. This is a Connolly dealership issue, not a customer oversight. OK. Problems happen. But a total lack of response to my complaints is all I get. NO ONE called me back, either salesman or manager. That is inexcusable. Incidentally, carpets are cheap at the service department, I checked. About half the price of what they are on a new car sales sticker. This is not a financial issue for the dealer, but one of respect and service. In the future I will go elsewhere, even though Connolly is a short way off. And, yes, my Accent WILL soon need replacing. I'm liking the 2011 Sonata - my son's new Limited edition one is wonderful and I'm envious. More

I have never been a fan of the "typical" car buying experience and like the fact that we were actually able to come back to pressure sales approach. The knowledgeable staff helped in the decision making process....making our final selection an educated one. Justin was a great first contact and knew all of his "stuff", unfortunately he was not working the day we sealed the deal, but Greg and Doug stepped in to make it all happen. Travis....the finance guy....very professional with his presentation of all the paper work necessary to get all of this done in a very short period of time. We were in and out for the final sale in less than an hour and a half. Negotiations on the final sales price were done primarily with Doug Connolly and I can't say enough about his professionalism and willingness to work to our final agree on price. This transparency and no-nonsense approach is present in the rest of their service, from financing to warranty service and maintenance. Mike Cordeiro was a fantastic help in finding the best vehicle for us, and the other sales people we interacted with were great as well. Not only would I recommend this dealer to others, I would not hesitate to go back a 3rd time when it comes time for another vehicle purchase. More
