This is my first time in purchasing vehicle in the US. Although I really don't know what it is like to buy a car at other dealerships, it would not be better than at Herb connolly Hyundai. I came in this past Saturday to look at a Sonata Limited and test drive it. I was helped immediately by Greg in a very professional and friendly manner. When I arrived at the dealership Greg was busy helping another customer so he had me meet w/Jim O'Reilly who let me test drive the turbo version. I came to the dealership prepared to purchase that day if I was able to put together a deal w/the figures I had in mind. Jim wrote up the deal for the white limited Sonata and presented it to Eric. Initially we were $2,500. away from where I wanted to be but then Eric agreed to w/in $500. w/1 year of oil changes. Rather than go to another dealer I chose to make the deal even though I was still $500. away from where I wanted to be. I know I could have still pressed (as the car I purchased was a demo w/just under 5,000 miles) but I chose to just get it done because of the no nonsense and professionalsm of those helping me. I hate the car dealers that still in this day and age w/ALL the info. available to customers on line try to "play the games" and make car buying anything but pleasant. I have purchased soooo manay cars in my life thus far and really appreciate being treated fairly and honestly and that is what happened to me and I am sure that is why this dealership sells so many cars! Car buying does not have to be a drag but still today so many dealerships still practice the "old school stereotypical tricks" and I choose to not do business w/those dealerships. My son and I felt very welcome and comfortable at Herb Connolly Hyundai as soon as we walked in. The Salesman was very nice and explained everything to us in great detail. I was unable to find the exact model/color combination for the car I wanted within 250 miles of the DC metro area. Local dealerships were unwilling to search for cars outside of their "trade" area. I found the exact car I wanted at Connolly Hyundai. I made a well researched offer which included the car value and my travel time/cost. The negotiations were candid and short lived. There was no gamesmanship. All paperwork was completed and in hand before I departed for Framingham. The dealership even picked me up at the airport. The car was ready when I arrived and it took less than 75 minutes to review the car and I was on my way. Six hours later (as I approached the Delaware Memorial Bridge) Jimmy called to see how my trip was going and if there were any car features that needed further explanation. This was my ninth car purchase and my third out of state distance buying experience (WA, PA, MA). I was pleased with all three but this was by far the best experience. Connolly Hyundai raised the bar. I interacted with a total of six staff members. All were polite, professional, and service oriented. Their goal was to meet my particular needs. Not only was the staff customer focused, they run a well oiled operation where the staff backs up each other. Its unfortunate they don't have a dealership in my local area. In my opinion, Connolly Hyundai is a quality enterprise. More

Peter and Doug found me a Sonata Limited 2.0T in the exact color I wanted with the navigation package when no other dealer in MA even had a turbo model in yet. You'll notice the review previous to this one was also done by me for the sales experience I had at this dealership. That was experience was amazing. At the end of it Doug Connolly let me know that I go done by me for the sales experience I had at this dealership. That was experience was amazing. At the end of it Doug Connolly let me know that I got an amazing deal and that he hoped that I would come to his dealership for warranty and service. I let him know that as long as his service team took as good care of me as his sales team I would gladly come there even though it is an hour out of my way vs another dealer that is 5 minutes out of my way. I've been there for 2 oil changes, 1 warranty repair that succeeded, and twice for a warranty repair that has gone far less than I'd expect. For one of the oil changes and the warranty repair that succeeded everything seemed great. Then the problems started occurring on the 2nd oil change/repair. The problem is my car pulls to the left. This seems to be a common issue with 2011 Sonata's as you can find for yourself by searching for "Sonata Left Pull". I do not fault the dealership for this and hopefully Hyundai comes up with a solution soon. I do fault the dealership for the service I've received trying to get this issue resolved. #1 I brought my car in to try to have the left pull fixed and to get an oil change at the same time. When I came to pick up my car the oil change was not completed and I had to wait to get it done. #2 I had been given a rental car while my car was being worked on. The car was DISGUSTING. I understand that it was winter so some sand and grime is to be expected, but this was so gross I barely wanted to get in the thing. It also had several scratches and a bumper that was loose. No one should be given a car in that condition. #3 The car had almost no gas in it. They say "oh it's supposed to be full, but don't worry you can return it like that". That's fine if you only drive a few miles here or there or if you know when your going to return the car, but if you drive 100 miles a day and don't know when you have to bring the rental back you have to constantly fill the tank to near empty or risk wasting $50 in gas to the rental. #4 They bent my wiper blade cleaning snow off my car before doing the oil change. (although they did fix it when I brought it to their attention and didn't give me a hard time about it) #5 They had my car for over a week and never updated me on what was going on. I didn't get an update until I called them. #6 Since my left pull wasn't resolved by their first attempt at an alignment and a new left front strut I called Brian over 1 week ago to ask what the next step should be with no response. I also sent an email 3 days ago and still no call, no email, nothing. If Hyundai is still working on the issue that's fine, but I should be kept in the loop. I'm not saying I should get a call back in a hour, but a week is unacceptable. I hate that I had such a great sales experience and want to reward that with loyalty for service, but if this keeps up I think that I'll have to try another dealer. To sum up I highly recommend the sales team here, but if you have a problem with the service dept, don't hesitate to call up another Hyundai dealer and explain your issue. In this tough economy I'm sure they would be happy to help. I intend to give the service dept one more chance and will update this review with my results. More

He took the time to review ALL components of the vehicle and was enthusiatic in his responses to any questions. He introduced us to the service team as well as reviewing service policies and hours of operation. They offer FREE rental cars ( Sonata's) for any service requiring more than two hours to complete. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone who is looking to lease or purchase a vehicle ( new or used) I will certainly go back again! More
