I had my Forester serviced in May, inspection and oil change. I was waiting for my car and I thought 2 1/2 hours was excessive. I came in for a tire rotation, spark plugs, inspection and an oil change. Initial customer service was good and pleasant enough. When i was notified of additional services i needed on my vehicle, i declin and an oil change. Initial customer service was good and pleasant enough. When i was notified of additional services i needed on my vehicle, i declined as it was just a cabin and regular air filter which I could do myself and i in fact purchased at the parts department. They also recommended that the differential fluid be done, but after speaking with multiple dealerships they advised it is to be done at 75k so i told them id come back as i was only at 60k. I had a loaner car and was told my vehicle would not be finished that day so to just come back in the morning. When i walked in my original advisor gave me a half smile and did not want to speak with me and was cold. Just said you can go to the cash out area. Ive driven hondas for years and never not had an interaction with an advisor when i picked up my vehicle. Usually they go over recommended services, what was performed and what services would be coming up, like brakes, tires etc. i have worked at many dealerships in the past so i know what to expect. Not only that but when I was cashing out with the cashier, i noticed the in house invoice had a valvoline instant oil change sticker on it which is convienently connected to their parking lot. Does not seem like a coincidence. So when i got home to change the airfilter i noticed that a genuine subaru filter was not used. It was blue and looked close but was not stamped. I also noticed coolant they had spilled when filling up my reservoir which they did not bother to clean up. Heres where i got angry, i looked at the cover where the spark plug cover for the coil pack goes. Looked literally untouched and covered in dust. Don’t you think if they were to have actually changed my plugs their would at the very least be some fingerprints or a cleaned area in that part of the engine? Seems bizzare to me. I would give 0/10 on recommendation to come here. I do not trust this dealership at all and will not be returning. More
