A good experience at Dick Dyer Toyota I posted my desired car on TrueCar. Several dealerships responded with offerings; Dick Dyer came closest to my desired vehicle. I called the dealer I posted my desired car on TrueCar. Several dealerships responded with offerings; Dick Dyer came closest to my desired vehicle. I called the dealership back (Elizabeth Rabon) and inquired about the vehicle. She informed that it was and set up a visit to the dealership. When I arrived, she introduced me to Kendal Decker, who was to be my salesman. After a brief discussion, Kendall took me on a RAV4 test drive. It went well. We got back to the dealership and Kendall worked up the paperwork to bring in the vehicle I wanted. He informed that it would be 3-5 business days. After three days he called to let me know that the vehicle had not yet arrived. It was further delayed with the close approach of Hurricane Dorian to both Jacksonville where the vehicle was initially parked and Columbia, SC, where the dealership is located. When conditions finally allowed delivery, Kendall called, and we agreed that I would pick the vehicle later that afternoon. We went through the required paperwork, and Kendall took my old Camry as a trade in (the allowed trade-in value was pretty much what I expected). He escorted me to the finance guy, Bob Carter. Bob and I conducted the business activities, and then Kendall took me out to my new RAV4 and showed me how to use a number of the features. After an hour or so, I was on my way in my new RAV4. I was pleased with my experience with Dick Dyer Toyota. The people were all quite friendly and conducted business in a professional manner. More

But my recent 55K service experience was surprisingly expensi I'm a loyal Dick Dyer customer. Dick Dyer always does high quality work at a fair price. But my recent 55K service experience was surprisingly expensive. I thought I was going in for a FREE 55K inspection that was offered to me in an email. I also wanted my tires rotated and an oil/filter change if it was needed.. I got the FREE inspection, and the tire rotation was FREE. I I was told the oil/filter would not need to be change until 60K. BUT. I was told that my brake fluid needed to be flushed and replaced. I've never had to flush the brake fluid at 55K on any car I've ever owned, but if this was truly needed to keep my brakes functioning properly, then I figured I had to do it for safety. But the total cost of my service visit was $200!!!! More

I felt like he was really on my side with his professional advice, which I took, as he guided me through my car's tire problem and other routine maintenance. I have also had great previous experiences with service advisor Jason Baughman. I would highly recommend both of them for your service needs! More
