Recent buying experience I was in an car accident that totaled my previous car and basically ruined my whole life. I came to Dick Dyer looking for a vehicle. And the dealer su I was in an car accident that totaled my previous car and basically ruined my whole life. I came to Dick Dyer looking for a vehicle. And the dealer suggested a car that he’d think I’d like. I told him I didn’t like the vehicle and also told him that I had anxiety because I wasn’t going to have a way to work. I understand that it is his job to upsell or sell the car to me but it is not his job to take advantage of my situation. Being that this dealership is “family oriented” I wouldn’t think that they’d take advantage of someone’s situation let alone upsell me a car that I can’t afford because of me going through this accident. Now I have a car I don’t like, can’t afford and now I feel as if I’m the blame for it all. I tried to take it back that following Monday and I received tons of attitude from the manager and from the staff there to where I don’t feel as if I should come back for even a maintenance check in a few months from now. Once I figure it out I won’t be back to this dealership and I advise young people to watch out for this dealership. Even recent college grads because they’ll use that fact against you. “Family oriented” they are not. More
