Evaluation, test drive, and purchase of GTI SE Called this dealership the day before to setup appointment to look at GTI SE (I'd visited a VW dealership in August, GA, earlier this week, and was no Called this dealership the day before to setup appointment to look at GTI SE (I'd visited a VW dealership in August, GA, earlier this week, and was not happy with the experience). The appointment was scheduled for the next morning.... Rachel Simard, Sales Consultant, greeted me outside the dealership when I arrived for my appointment. Went inside to discuss my selection of the GTI SE, then went for a test drive. Car performed as expected, and we returned to the dealership to discuss financial options. Rachel did a good job in explaining pricing and payment options available. During our discussion I received a detailed trade-in estimate on my 2010 Ford F-150 (Lariat Model), which was well-within my expectations. Joey McDougal, Business Manager, joined in our discussion, assuring me that he would do whatever is necessary to make a deal happen. I explained several personal issues that have a bearing on my purchasing decision, and told Joey and Rachel that I would discuss all my issues with my wife that evening and get back to them on our decision. I called Rachel the next morning with our decision to purchase the GTI SE at the agreed upon price, and that I would like to take delivery in two days, which she agreed to. Note- This was the easiest, most efficient car purchase I've ever made. I've purchased a total of six VW products since 1971 (4 of them new car purchases!), and feel that VW has provided me with a good, reliable product at a fair price. Both Rachel and Joey did an excellent job in listening to my purchasing requirements and factors influencing my choice of VW and the GTI model. I would recommend this location to anyone interested in purchasing any of the VW line of products. The dealership location was convenient and easy to get to, with ample parking. The showroom is quiet, very nicely outfitted, and the desk/conference area(s) clean. (Note; the restroom was spotless and well-stocked, as well!). Overall, my experience with this dealership was excellent at all levels. More

30 Crazy Days of Dealer Buttfumbles On December 27th, I dropped my car off for a repair to the already diagnosed lower oil pan gasket. I got a loaner, a completely base Jetta S(in which On December 27th, I dropped my car off for a repair to the already diagnosed lower oil pan gasket. I got a loaner, a completely base Jetta S(in which someone had soiled every seat) for my 2018 Golf GTI SE. On December 28th, I was informed that it was not the lower oil pan, but the upper oil pan, and that would be a few days. After about a week of no contact, I had to call them to get info. Finally, they tell me that now the rear main is leaking. After several attempts, January 9th rolls around, I get the call that my car is finished. It takes me 20 miles to realize it's not finished. I return the car because of a clunk(still not fixed, I believe the steering rack is failing) and it's leaking oil, where it was just seeping before. ON TOP OF THIS, they "detailed" (belt sanded) my car before I picked it up, leaving scratches EVERYWHERE. They upgraded the loaner to a new Tiguan, which was much less of an insult. After a couple of weeks, the dealer gives up(I had already requested a buyback), and calls in VW. VW arrives, determines that the tool to install the rear main is broken. Car is repaired (paint still in limbo), I get the call to pick it up on January 29th. 25 of the days I waited, was because this sorry excuse for a service department couldn't be bothered to check their tools before a major installation. And I'm still not done dealing with them. More
