Met with Cody to go over service needs and was treated with friendly professionalism and told how long it should take. I was pleasantly surprised that it took the appropriate amount of time and told the findings with paperwork I took with me. A vast departure from my last few experiences I had at this service dept. Big thanks to Cody for his help. More

This response is for Kia, not the dealership. My car experienced a known issue that is very common with Kia that typically requires an engine replacement under warranty. My car failed in Amarillo My car experienced a known issue that is very common with Kia that typically requires an engine replacement under warranty. My car failed in Amarillo so I left my car with the dealer there, they informed me it would take about 3 months to get the engine replaced and it would be under warranty, they called a week later and said it was ready and didn't need an engine replacement. As I was leaving, I asked the technician if he was certain it was good, he assured me that it was but then recommended that I not take any long trips in it. Within a few months it started using oil, and 16000 miles later, the engine failed and Kia said it failed for another reason that was not under warranty. Then at the Tulsa dealership I was originally told the engine replacement would have a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty. Then when I agreed to pay for the replacement, I was told the warranty would be 1 year 12,000 miles; I complained and told them what I was told, they then agreed to change it to 2 years 24,000 miles. When I picked my car up I asked to get documentation for the warranty, I was told by Patrick that I didn't need it and that it was standard. He then wrote on the bottom of the receipt, 2 years 24,000 miles and initialed it, I asked that he sign it and he did. I feel that I paid for an engine replacement that should have been under warranty, then the warranty for the new engine was handled in a very unprofessional manner. More
