Upon purchasing my truck from Jenna, a 2014 Frontier, the check engine light was on... Jenna had me contact Andy in service, so we could schedule a time to get it in. This check engine light was rather problematic, several things were done to try and repair it, including contacting Nissan to get guidance. During the whole time the truck was there, Andy would contact me at the beginning and end of the day to let me know what was going on. Even the sales person who sold me the truck (Jenna) got on touch with me to see how things were going... If you ask me, that's what I call service More
OK, hopefully this will be the last post for my 03 Xterra. Again, it had trouble starting, called Martin and he said to bring it in. This time is was the wiring and ignition switch that was causing the problem. It had nothing to do with earlier problems other then the lousy service place I had it originally towed to. Again, Martin had to get the parts that was diagnosed by Tony (the mechanic). He loaned a car and off I went. It was back a few days later (as was projected) and I picked it up today. Hopefully that will be the last of any problems for this great old 03 Xterra. I hope to have it for many years to come. Martin and Tony have done a wonderful job fixing the truck that was almost ruined by a local car repair shop. Live and learn from this out of town guy. I will always take it to a Nissan service center. Thank you Martin and Tony. Best, Shelly More
Marty was great. He turned a somewhat negative experience into something positive. My car was completed more quickly than expected. Unfortunately, I experienced damage to the rental car, not of my own making. I would not have had to leave my car overnight had it been properly serviced when I purchased it. I now may have an increase in my insurance premiums because of the vandalism to the rental vehicle. Fortunately, Marty was able to get the dealer to waive my deductible for the repair to the rental. Thus, he has done an excellent job of service recovery. He is an asset to the Midway Nissan. More
I had a less than exceptional experience with MIDWAY Nissan. Their website quoted an "Internet Price" but when I actually got to the dealership, they would not honor it because I did not qualify for al Nissan. Their website quoted an "Internet Price" but when I actually got to the dealership, they would not honor it because I did not qualify for all the discounts. The website did not have any indication that you had to qualify for anything so when it says MSRP then Discounts and then "Internet Price", one would think that was the price you would pay. The only explanation that I received was that it was not their problem, it was Nissan's problem with verbiage. The girl in finance, Emily, that took my application advised me that I may be able to qualify for 0% financing on the phone. I knew that was not going to be an option for my financial situation and when I questioned that, she proceeded to indicate that it was a possiblity. I was lied to twice at this point. The salesman was young and aarogant and had not an ounce of customer service in him. The only person at the dealership that was remotely respectful was the finance manager, John Rock. He engaged me in conversation and was helpful. Trying to actually reach someone at this dealership on the phone is nearly impossible. You get a snotty receptionist that refuses to transfer you without getting your name and contact information (that they will not use to call you back when they hang up on you). You get transferred to an infinite ringing loop that no one ever picks up. I had to call 5 times to get someone in the finance area to tell me the status of my paperwork. All in all, horrible experience. They are lacking in engaging customer service and I will not be returning to them for any of my scheduled maintenance. I will drive down the road to another Nissan dealership for any and all service needs I may have. I will not be a repeat customer nor will I recommend them to anyone. More
Scott was very helpful in my first car buying experience. He was very professional and laid back during the whole deal. There were no hidden fees, no scamming and no lying about the deal. Marty has tried to speedup the service because I needed to be at the airport within 3 hours. The car is ready for me in less than 2 hours. Thanks. to be at the airport within 3 hours. The car is ready for me in less than 2 hours. Thanks. More
As always, Tim was ready to help .. this time with 'Service Engine Soon' light. Even though the service department was busy, I had my car back soon and all washed and no charge to fix the problem. Service advisor friendly and informative as usual. I usually work with Scott Sloan but I think it was Chris Graebel (sorry if not spelled correctly). It was time for a new vehicle, so of course I went back to the dealership where I bought the vehicle I was using as a trade in... Midway Nissan.... I called ahead and "set an appointment" based on a few ve to the dealership where I bought the vehicle I was using as a trade in... Midway Nissan.... I called ahead and "set an appointment" based on a few vehicles I had seen online and was ready to get going. . I went back to Midway Nissan simply due to the fact that when I was there 3 years ago, they were more than willing to work with me. This time though.. blew my last purchase there out of the water. . Upon my arrival I was introduced to Jenna.. I explained my situation to which she said she would do her best.. I appreciated her straightforward and "can get done" attitude. Rather than show me vehicles that I didn't want, she took me directly to what I was looking for.. The whole time she was the only person I dealt with.. After all the "wheeling and dealing" was done, I was passed off to Julio in finance... Now, we know that often times this is where you begin to say to yourself "this is why I hate buying a car", but no.. It wasn't like that. Julio was very nice, personable and made it seem like it didn't take so long. After finally leaving the dealership, new keys in hand, I must admit. .. I'd recommend Midway Nissan to everyone. More
