Warranty trip Midwest Toyota performed the first “free oil change” on my new Tacoma. I walked into the service department a week prior and made the appointment for Midwest Toyota performed the first “free oil change” on my new Tacoma. I walked into the service department a week prior and made the appointment for 7 am the following Friday. I showed up a little before 7 and Jim the service writer greeted me and took my information. I was a little disappointed that there was not a free loaner car to use while my truck was being serviced as I used the free loaner car at another Toyota dealership. I was stuck wondering around the lot until my vehicle was done. The service tech brought my Tacoma back to the service drive once he completed the work. Jim went over the findings of the service tech and I drove out of there a few minutes before 8. Jim told me he thought it would take an hour and a half. I was totally impressed with the service and Jim’s assistance. Although the service area needed a much needed updating, the service I recurved was just as good as more modern Toyota dealerships I have visited. More

Dishonest service department Took my car in for an oil change. The service advisor told me the car needed both front and rear brakes. Made it sound like the car was dangerous to drive. Quoted a price of around 350 to do the work. I took the car to a shop owned by a family member to have the brakes replaced. He told me that the brakes were fine, and that the brake pads still had about 80% left. I will never take any of my vehicles back there, nor will I ever purchase another vehicle from them. I bought 3 Toyota vehicles from them in the past, but never again! More

After I received the call it was completed and I went back to get my car, the oil change had not been completed. I had to come back a second time to pick up my car. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because they did give me a $10 discount, but still only 2 stars because it still cost $45 for a simple oil change. More
