Customer came in with a vehicle concern, as a dealer who is focused on customer satisfaction we provided the customer with a loaner vehicle at no charge while her vehicle was being worked on. Our service department found excessive play in both lower ball joints and lower control arms. We then replaced them at no charge to the customer. Our service department also provided a complimentary alignment at no charge to customer. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and we are not perfect when we find an unsatisfied client we go the extra mile to make it right which is what was done in this case. THere was nothing done on my behalf until my 3rd visit I was told the work on my car was $1200 and i woukd be stuck with the bill it was not until I contacted the BBB and wrote this review did I have any respectful attention. In fact the service manager watched me argue back and forth with personnel and never took over. They only moved when it affected their image dont be fooled. The issues on the car were on my car before I purchased it and should have been addressed then. I was not goodwilled anything I still ended up paying $350 before my second car note.

Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Merrillville responded

After the replacement of a rear light bulb, the customer was concerned about the appearance of a trim panel and the finish on the bumper near the tail light. After the customer checked in their 2007 Mustang GT, the car was driven from the service entrance to the body shop by the body shop manager to the technician stall where the interior trim panel was replaced in the trunk and the rear bumper was buffed. At the owner's request, the manager also wrote an estimate for repair of a rocker panel on the car that the owner had damaged. The body shop manager returned the vehicle to the service entrance for delivery. Upon delivery, the owner inspected the bumper for the scratches on the vehicle with the body shop manager to determine if the scratches were indeed buffed out of the finish. As the scratches were only visible in strong light, they were inspected in the same. The inspection was conducted by the body shop manager with the owner to ensure that the customer was completely satisfied, which he confirmed at the time of delivery. The body shop manager was the only person to drive the vehicle while at the dealership.
