Just had some work done on my truck by Senior Service Tech- Joe Keilman. There’s 2 people aside from myself and my father in the entire region I would trust working on my diesel truck. Joe is one of them Tech- Joe Keilman. There’s 2 people aside from myself and my father in the entire region I would trust working on my diesel truck. Joe is one of them. I am pretty mechanically inclined, but we all have our limits. He fixed it up, cleaned off the area that needed to be addressed, and had it back to me within a good time frame. I would highly recommend anyone looking for reputable maintenance work, good customer service and guaranteed satisfaction, to take it to Joe at Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Merrillville off of 61st and 65. That be said, in 2019 i was completely satisfied how this dealership serviced my car needs. 2020 of February 29 on a Saturday around 3:00 pm the busy day there, a nice lady name Sandee, who's also a cashier, went above and beyond the call of duty. her enthusiasm is strong and exillerating. Sandee stay on the phone with me with several attemps to get me through to a Service advisor and when that didn't happen, she offered to allow me to speak to a manager. I'm completely and totally satisfied with Mike Anderson Chevy, i told everybody i know how Mike Anderson have his employees to treat his customers. For that, i give Mike Anderson 5 Stars for customer satisfaction. More

He called multiple times to verify they still had them for him on hold and they kept telling him yes. When he got there, they said they had already sold the parts. Then, proceeded to give my husband an attitude and talk to him like he was stupid because of his accent. The parts department are the most unprofessional people we’ve ever met. Talking to someone like that because they’re from another country is so disrespectful and rude. They wouldn’t even apologize or offer to help or anything. My husband asked if they could order the parts or if another dealership could help and they simply said no and walked away. When he told them I’m giving you guys a bad review, they said we don’t care, no one will understand what you’re saying. The most racist xxxxxxxx we’ve ever met. They don’t care to help you if you have an accent or if they think you don’t know what you’re doing. My husband has been working with cars for over 10 years. They’d rather get money than to help out their customers. I wish we could give them zero stars. They don’t even deserve the one star. More
Deceitful Just a bad overall experience from scheduling the appointment, showing up and being told they could not honor the appointment, to work that had to be Just a bad overall experience from scheduling the appointment, showing up and being told they could not honor the appointment, to work that had to be done twice as it wasn't right the first time, and finally just plain lied about the filter they were using. I brought the car in for a front end alignment, but during the work I was told the cabin air filter needed to be changed. I let the Service Advisor know that I wanted the charcoal air filter and that it was grey, and she agreed that is the filter they used so I approved the new filter. When I got home I found the filter was instead a white hepa filter. I had to take the car back anyway as the front end was worse now than it was before I took it in. Mind you I took it in because I just put new tires on the car, not because it was driving badly. It drove fine until I brought it in. When I challenged the Service Advisor on the charcoal filter, I was given an article stating hepa filters were better than charcoal, but no apology for the lie, no offer to replace it with the filter I wanted. Just "too bad because we know better". At this point I don't care whether they are right or wrong, the fact is it is my car, and if I want a charcoal filter in it, that is what should be in it. I don't like the fact that Lisa just agreed with me so she could move on and then go and put whatever filter they wanted in it. It makes you wonder what other customers are being told vs what is actually being done to the vehicle. More

excellent customer service I came in today for an oil change and witnessed 3 of the staff members +ne of which was Larry Giannini helping an elderly lady get into her car. The l I came in today for an oil change and witnessed 3 of the staff members +ne of which was Larry Giannini helping an elderly lady get into her car. The lady was very slow at walking, Larry held her purse and her arm and kindly helped her into the car while the 2 other staff members helped get her situated in the car. Once she was situated the other staff member gave her her coffee. It was the nicest thing I have seen in quite some time. The employees deserve positive attention for being so courteous. It made my day as well as the elderly lady as I seen the big smile on her face. Way to go employees!!! More

After them not finding the problem, I selected Mike Anderson'. Jim Belansky was very helpful from the beginning. Seems the failed part was hard to find. He and his team scoured the nation to find a replacement. Jim kept me informed daily on the status of my vehicle. When I arrived at the center, all the employee's were very friendy. Thanks again to Jim and all your team. More
Crappy Service I took my 2010 Impala yesterday for a 1 pm appointment to service the traction control and the stabilitrak. They told me they would call around 2 pm with the diagnostic report but they did not even look at my car until 4:30 pm. They did not have a rental for me to use since they would be holding my car over night. The next morning i received a call around 8:40 am saying they were working on my can and it would be ready within the hour. Well an hour came and went with not call, then around 3:30 pm they called saying my car was done. When i went to pick up my car they did not remove the diagnostic charge so I had to wait about 30 min. for them to fix the paper work, and when i looked at the bill the labor alone was $500 for some thing what was supposed to take no more that 2 hours at the most. Rest assured I will never take my car to these "people" again. More
