If I could give -100 Stars I would. I started my conversation with Tim Prater by recounting a story that I had just walked away from a local dealer that wanted $10,000 over MSRP and tha I started my conversation with Tim Prater by recounting a story that I had just walked away from a local dealer that wanted $10,000 over MSRP and that I would not pay over MSRP for a factory ordered Corvette. Mr. Prater told me that he had Corvette Allocations soon and no one in line to get them. I sent him my build and after a while, he said he had one and said that If I put down a $1000 deposit, he would enter it for me. After a couple of months and building up my anticipation, I took my name off of other lists because I was assured that my vehicle would be built soon. I asked for a buyers order so I could verify the pricing, I finally got one 3 days after the demand for the deposit but it was for a 2022 (Not a 2023) and it was really expensive, I told Tim about the model year and the price difference, he said he would get it corrected. The day after my vehicle was built, I received the "Proposal" (Buyers Order) for $117,505 ($15,000 over MSRP) After attempting to plead my case with Tim and the Management of Mike Bell Chevrolet, I wrote Mary Barra in a last chance effort to get the vehicle at MSRP. They dug in their heels and refused to change the price and GM said they could not force the issue and would do nothing to correct the "Wrong"(their description of the situation). They dropped the issue and told me to seek legal action. The Vehicle is now listed on their site for $20,000 over MSRP. I spent 30 years as a US Army Officer and this is how they treat their customers and Veterans. I could not recommend this company if they were the last Chevrolet dealer in the world. More
