Working with Ron Shaffer was an excellent experience. He is a straight shooter and doesn't play games on pricing...it is what it is. We were, however, somewhat disappointed in delivery of the vehicle, which to my knowledge, was out of Ron's control. The vehicle was not detailed until we got there and were involved in financing. The dealership had at least 3 days notice that we were going to pick up the Tahoe at 5:00 on Monday, October 7th, 2013. When we got in the Tahoe to leave, the "fuel" light was on and we were given a mere $20 voucher for gas. There also were no floormats in the vehicle. Castrucci has agreed to reimburse us the cost of the floormates, which we went and purchased after the fact. We just felt that after spending as much as we did on the Tahoe that the delivery was in poor taste. We have purchased 5 new and used vehicles from Castrucci and would definitely work with Ron Shaffer again. I hope management takes into consideration some of the delivery points I am trying to make. I placed offers on 13 different vehicles listed on Auto Trader and other places. Not only were they first to respond, they had the best offer for the money by more than $1K. We did run into a few problems, but they worked with me through the entire process. The issue was the power steering, they were honest up front about it, and repaired it. I did have to wait a week but they allowed me 24 hours for a test drive and to take it to my mechanic for inspection. The only thing left to do is for them to guarantee the repairs in writing - I'm waiting on that but am confident they will provide it. We are very happy with our experience. They were professional, honest, and gave us a good deal. We will be buying another vehicle, maybe two, in the next 5 years, and will contact them first. More

On this visit, I did not have an appointment, however, the service department got my vehicle in immediately and provided a thorough diagnosis of the problem within 20 minutes. The mechanic thoroughly explained what needed to be done and listed the problems found in priority order. This allowed me to get the most important issues corrected first and to hold off on less critical items for later, which of course allowed me to save money. There was no pressure to spend the maximum amount of money possible to fix every problem found. My wife is extremely pleased with how well her car runs now and she is glad I drove the extra miles to get it fixed at Mike Castrucci. More
