I wanted to thank Mr. Jay Piter for all his actions from turning a bad experience into a great customer service experience! We recently had our Rav4 repainted by the Erdma Jay Piter for all his actions from turning a bad experience into a great customer service experience! We recently had our Rav4 repainted by the Erdman Toyota dealership due to a factory issue on the paint. We did buy this Rav4 there used years ago. Even though it was passed the mileage and # of years past warranty, they honored taking care of a known White paint delamination issue. Unfortunately when we got the car back from being painted there was still significant paint dust on the inside of the car and some paint over spray on some exterior areas including the tires and wheel. Also some orange peel and some of the paint that just wasn't as good as the original factory finish. I called Frank who had handled the first paint job and he set us up to take the car back for a full clean up. After dropping our car off for a day as discussed, the car was returned in poor condition compared to cleanliness when we dropped it off. I had just had it detailed for her birthday. At this point I got a hold of Mr Piter at the main dealership. He quickly responded and after seeing our pictures he apologized for the condition that the car was returned to us and immediately set out to rectify the situation. He got us set up to get our car back to the paint shop with no inconvenience to us and had it picked up by his staff and dropped off by them at I-95 location near our house. When the car finally was returned to us, it was in as new condition. Definitely better than when we dropped it off! We were extremely satisfied with the final response and look forward to purchasing another Toyota from Erdman Toyota. Thank you Jay. More

Maybe when you get that big, you feel you’re entitled, Money is the motivator and you truly believe you can just pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. I went in for a check engine light-$240 for the diagnostic to tell me the tires needed air. Picked up the car and the AC didn’t blow cold anymore. Funny how the car went in with freon and came out with none. Angelina in Customer Service said they would have to run another diagnostic test for $240 to see what was wrong. Really. Another diagnostic to find out why my AC no longer blows cold after it left your shop? In other words, it’s ok to return the client’s property in worse condition than when they brought it in? Shame on you Angelina, your managers, and Mike Erdman. I hope one day that someone big enough to stand up to Mike Erdman Toyota receives the same treatment that I did. More
Criminal. I bought my car and extended warranty from a dealership out of state. They said that the warranty couldn't be found. They were going to charge me a diagnostic fee of $600 for my "3 concerns." I went home, found the warranty and emailed the cover sheet. The response: "Please let me know when you would like to schedule an appointment for diagnosis. We will need you to drop off the vehicle as it is not a quick diagnosis. You will still need to approve $600(plus tax and shop fees) of diagnosis. Once we diagnose, I will call your warranty company to place a claim. If your warranty company covers the repair, I will not charge you, unless there is a deductible with the warranty company. If we diagnose and the warranty does not cover the repairs, then the decision is up to you. If you decide to do repairs, I will only charge you for repairs. But if the warranty company does not cover repairs, and you decline the repairs, I will have to charge you the $600 plus tax and fees. When ready to schedule the appointment please call 321-453-1313." Did you notice "YOUR (my emphasis) warranty company"! What??!! I bought the warranty from Toyota. No matter what, you are ripped off. If you decide that you can fix it cheaper, you still pay at $200 an hour for the "3 concerns" because it takes one hour each to diagnose. Come on! I bought the extended warranty from Toyota to have peace of mind when it comes to repairs, not to have to worry about being ripped off. I left. More
The service department is the worse-run operation on the planet. They can't be bothered to check the Toyota SERVICE Bulletins to see if any apply to the vehicle YOU BOUGHT FROM THEM. Mike Erdman Toyota, BAD, Over a week ago I booked two cars to go in for service. A 2018 RAV4 for oil change and tire rotation. Oil change quoted 54.xx and rotate tires 22.xx plus tax. The other car a 20 cars to go in for service. A 2018 RAV4 for oil change and tire rotation. Oil change quoted 54.xx and rotate tires 22.xx plus tax. The other car a 2017 Lexus RX350 quoted 54.xx Oil and 22.xx tire rotation. We got there yesterday. They politely asked us to have a seat and they would look over the cars. The service advisor came back in and told us each car would be over 100.00. I asked him what happened to the 54.xx and 22.xx total around 80 I figured total each car including tax. He said there is a shop charge. This is not explained to you on the phone. I was very angry. I am already there and my time is valuable. I woud have walked right out. I told the general manager of my displeasure, but very nicely blown off. When the cars were done he took a little off. So instead of doing both cars for 160 I figured, he did both for 165.00, but wait..When I got home, he did not rotate the tires on the RAV4, just the Lexus. So I called today and to have the tires rotated only, it now would be 39.,00. I asked why, it should have been the 22 with the job. Well, guess there is another shop charge. Bottom Line, when you call Mike Erdman for a price of a job, get the full price, the job, the SHOP FEE, whatever that could be, I guess whatever they want it to be, and tax. I would not go back to Mike Erdman for anything. Mike, I hope you read this and advise your telephone sales people to tell the full story. More
