Service Department charged me 205 dollars for a diagnostic fee. My truck is a 2024 ford f150 with 32,000 miles still under factory warranty. I brought it in for several issues all were addressed an diagnostic fee. My truck is a 2024 ford f150 with 32,000 miles still under factory warranty. I brought it in for several issues all were addressed and fixed by dealership. I was charged because the ford dealership I purchased the truck from brand new had a gps unit installed on it. Mike Fitzpatrick said that was causing the rough idle issue and unplugged it and charged me 205 Dollars. They did not hook up their computer and check anything they just unplugged it and said the dealer installed gps unit was causing it. They performed several other repairs to the truck so not understanding why they had to charge me when they were already repairing the truck. Very disappointed that I was charged this when the truck is still under factory warranty. More
