We took our vehicle to Mike Johnson's yesterday for a simple oil change. It took over 1 hr and 15 minutes to complete our oil change scheduled at 1400. After we left, we discovered the oil reset was no simple oil change. It took over 1 hr and 15 minutes to complete our oil change scheduled at 1400. After we left, we discovered the oil reset was not set and still showed 30% life left. We also noticed the oil change sticker in the windshield still had our old sticker, so we removed it. When we arrived at our next destination, we could not find the FOB we have provided to the Advisor, even after an extensive search, so we returned to ask where it was. It was then that we found it after it fell on the back floor when moving our jacket in the back seat. So at this point, we're not sure we trust all the steps were taken when changing oil in our vehicle. What other steps were missed besides resetting the oil gauge and not putting new sticker in our window? We also noticed the Comments in our receipt says our "TAG NUMBER IS Exp." Our tags do not expire until Jan 23, so unsure why this is in our receipt. At this point, Mike Johnson's has lost our trust and we don't think we'll ever come back, for service or a new vehicle. They need to review checklists and remind all techs to do the same. (Had a problem at another auto repair shop that charged us for an oil change, but never did one while we waited, so I did check our oil this time as well). Good luck! More
This dealership could improve on there handling of dmv/Licenses plates. Come to find out no thanks to them that my specialty tag they said was transfered was never transfered. Cause of their failure to communicate. resulted in penalties. So for almost a year I was driving around illegally. This resulted in 150 dollars of penalties to tag office of North Carolina. When all they had to do was notify me by mail, email or simply call.. Then to top it off when I called my salesman to tell him what happened, he said his managers didn't wanna even make it right. Saying it was my problem stating they refunded tag transfer cost.. Like really? I just got a check from them in the mail figuring I simply over paid for the car no explanation for check with it or anything... If your gonna do a job in my book do it correctly or don't do it at all. Highly disappointed with thier service in their fiance department that handles title and tag. Just thankful I didn't get pulled over or in a wreck with said untagged vehicle. License Plate Agency said I could have been arrested or charged for driving on a invalid tag. They said I had the right to get my restitution from the dealership for penalties that I incurred. They the dealership dont seem to think so. So for the next customer all I have to say is don't trust them with their tag work. check and recheck them multiple times. Or just don't even give them your business at all cause they won't accept wrong doing when they did wrong.. They won't even notify you when service of tag transfer wasn't provided after all.. Be careful is all I say. More
