I took my new truck in for a basic oil change and it came out with a different problem that it NEVER had prior. They said it was over time well over time this has never happened until it went it to service, out with a different problem that it NEVER had prior. Had to take my truck to another place after a few hundred miles of service at Mike Maroone. It’s unfortunate to see that the stereotypes of dealerships are so accurate. After taking my work truck in to Mike miles of service at Mike Maroone. It’s unfortunate to see that the stereotypes of dealerships are so accurate. After taking my work truck in to Mike Maroone to get serviced and specifically asked to have every component checked out, I was a little hesitant figuring the service tech couldn’t even work his iPad. Anyways I went forward with it considering mike put so much in to advertising how great his customer experience was. I was provided the oil change (the only service that was provided according to the terrible, terrible service technician) and then told my truck was in great condition. (You may contact me for a audio copy of this interaction as they record every conversation, thank god! ) A few hundred miles of driving later I was hit with a strange squealing noise, steering that was hard to control, and an overall noise to the truck that was unsettling. Because of my prior experience with Mike Maroone Chevrolet south, I took my truck to get not only a second, but third opinion. I was absolutely blindsided by a quote for $3500 of repairs that needed done, from 2 different automotive service companies. All of these repairs were in areas that, according to another mechanic , should have been absolutely obvious to the prior mechanic. Including but not limited to: low oil, low steering fluid, NO COOLANT, BRAKES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED OVER 1000 miles prior. If missing the fact the brakes were past the point of manufacturers recommended replacement doesn’t bother you at all, and they still said “your truck is ready to go”, then you definitely have found the right mechanic for you! I believe my vehicle was not serviced at all, if it was, it was not done to any standards that would be considered even adequate by federal guidelines (lol) Stay away from these guys!!! Every person we interacted with here, was just incredible! It almost seems too good to be true, but every single person, from the salesman - Simon, to the manager - Andrew, and the Finance manager incredible! It almost seems too good to be true, but every single person, from the salesman - Simon, to the manager - Andrew, and the Finance manager - Lance, we were treated better than we ever hoped for when visiting a car dealership. Where their North store completely failed in customer service, this South store made up for 1000% our sincerest appreciation for all the honesty and help we received during this process. You made buying a car FUN! I will definitely be recommending this dealership moving forward. Thanks again Simon, Andrew, and Lance! You all deserve one hell of a bonus for the level of customer service you put out! Hopefully I can send you some more business again soon. More

The mechanic services were awesome, I saw a light on my car and not having an appointment or anything I remembered my husband trusted them. Having just lost my husband to cancer I took my car with hopes t car and not having an appointment or anything I remembered my husband trusted them. Having just lost my husband to cancer I took my car with hopes they could fix it, they replaced the alternator and battery on the 8th and today fixed the power steering so I am driving a safe vehicle. I can't thank the mechanic staff for everything they did to help me. You have an awesome staff! More
