I made an appointment for my 'break job' and dropped the vehicle off the night before, The morning of the appointment, they called to say they didn't have the parts!. I think they also soft-pedaled the total cost of the job, because it seemed more expensive than I expected when it was completed. I think they didn't add labor and tax in the estimate.
