My name is Michael Ostrow and I am the Business Development manager here at Millennium Toyota. I apologize for your inconvenience here. I would like to address a few of the items in your complaint. First, the appraisal of your car. A salesperson is not an appraiser, and can only tell you what is in the book. Truth is, there may have been some damage to your trade, possibly without your knowledge. I apologize if the saleseperson unknowingly misled you. Second, it is standard practice in the business to "pencil a deal" This involves a black sharpie on a document. This is standard practice. Third, because I do not know who you are, I cannot verify the why of a salesperson walking away. My feeling is that the negotiations were stalled, and they decided to put a second face on, which also is standard operating procedure. I apologize for your experience. If I could at least know who you are, I can take appropriate actions regarding the salesperson.
