Where to start. .. I did not need a car for a few months, nor did I expect to buy a car the day I walked into Gallatin Ford, but through a process of high-pressure sa .. I did not need a car for a few months, nor did I expect to buy a car the day I walked into Gallatin Ford, but through a process of high-pressure sales I ended up with one. Our salesman Justin did a good job of homing-in on what my son wanted which is probably the only good point of going in. I would have been fine at that point to say I know what we want to buy and come back later to purchase a car, but no... you can check-in but you can't ever leave... We got there in the morning no having had any breakfast, the whole process took over 5 hours with many frustrating interactions throughout including the finance process most of all. I can become hypoglycemic and did which led to a really unpleasant interaction with a 19 year old finance clerk where I lost my xxxx. If you don't want an extended warranty and say it three times you expect them to move on, but the constant asking why don't you want this added service or this title insurance, not understanding the mental state of the customer sent me over the edge. He had the emotional intelligence and empathy of a rock. Ford financing sucks. I have perfect credit and had used them before, you think they would have come down, but no, had to go to external financing which added to the time. All this resulted in one of my worst dealership experiences ever. That's just first interaction. As part of the deal we were promised a factory like installation of a hitch on a Bronco sport, better than an aftermarket installation. Great! Jim, the after sales service guy was great and got the parts for the installation in the time promised. We had it installed expecting a very clean installation nicely molded bumper allowing space for the new hitch, but no... the bumper was cut out with a multitool, aka roughly, no clean-up on the edges, left exposed components, and on one part it was not even cut out enough to provide proper clearance of the hitch, so the flashing was bulged and warped. In hindsight I should have left the first day and made them get the car from the factory with the hitch on it which I had plenty of time to do. I don't know what else to say other than don't go here unless you expect to walk out with a car, bring your own financing, do your homework on dealer costs, and bring snacks because it is going to take awhile. Service and service technician who did the work was excellent. My service advisor was very sub par and rude. Would recommend this dealer for service just because of the care of vehicle and video take d excellent. My service advisor was very sub par and rude.
