Bait and Switch!! Visited this dealership one day, discussed a car and price. Salesman and his orientee stated price agreable. Returned on Monday to pay for vehicle. Wi Visited this dealership one day, discussed a car and price. Salesman and his orientee stated price agreable. Returned on Monday to pay for vehicle. With check in hand to purchase vehicle, dealer stated vehicle and price were no longer available because "some one did something they weren't suppose to do"! So third sales person takes over, presenting me with other more expensive options for a vehicle. Within 3 minutes of leaving the dealership, the salesman who "did something he wasn't suppose to do" calls me attempting to save the sale. Stating he was in the back getting my numbers to make sure there wasn't some mistake- he watched me write them down during my first visit! When the orientee phoned the next week to ask if "we were all good", I explained their tactis were dishonest, he replied with obviously scripted comments that were inaccurate. "I know you that car didn't have the sunroof you wanted", a sunroof was never discussed. I had never heard of the word "bait and switch" until this experience. While telling friends about my experience it was obvious this was a perfect example. More
