After it was clear that Bob Richards Toyota dealership couldn't get the car I wanted, they promised to refund my $500 credit card deposit within a few days. 2 weeks later as I was preparing for deploymen couldn't get the car I wanted, they promised to refund my $500 credit card deposit within a few days. 2 weeks later as I was preparing for deployment, I had to file a complaint with my bank as it still hadn't been refunded and no one from the dealership would talk to me or return my calls. The bank told me that Bob Richards refused to refund the money for 30 days. Very sleazy operation and I will never buy from them. I'm just glad I got out without more problems. In the meantime, they told me that Toyota has decided NOT to ship any more red cars to the southeast and will only ship as far as Texas from now on, so it's going to be virtually impossible to get any Toyota model in any of their red colors. Nice going Toyota. And I still don't have my deposit back! Way to take care of your military members! More

My wife and I were visiting car dealers in the Aiken/Augusta area over the weekend (June 9th). We were looking specifically for deals on pre-owned Camry's and had been to several other car lots p Aiken/Augusta area over the weekend (June 9th). We were looking specifically for deals on pre-owned Camry's and had been to several other car lots previous to Bob Richards that day. I objective was to find the best overall deal, then make a decision. Once on the lot, the sales person immediately stated that he dealt with "buyers" not "customers". Then when I explained how many places I had been today looking for a deal, and that I had searched the internet, cars.com etc. he wanted to know "why haven't you already bought one of them"? Then he said "you aren't interested in buying a car" and walked off. I asked as he was walking away if he had anything in used Camry's with under 35,000 miles, he said "I don't know, go find it.." then walked away. I turned around and left the lot. Absolutely un-called for behavior from a salesman. I understand this does not reflect the dealer as a whole, but that particular guy lost a potential sale for them, and I will state that my wife finalized on a brand new Camry 2012 today, and even stepped up from looking at pre-owned, once we found a nice dealer, Dave Edwards Toyota in Spartanburg SC. Highly recommend them. More
I am not an easy customer to handle and worked for 3 weeks with both of the local Toyota dealerships. Mark Parrish was great and his Manager Mr. Bumpus made the expearience even better. I need to give just a little background. I was in need of an affordable vehicle to travel to and from SRS, especially during these gas-price times. We were very, very luck that Gopi walked up to us (he may have thought differently after awhile), but he maintained his ever-pleasant demure and was more than accomodating to my husband. Gopi explained in detail everything about my Yaris (yes it is MY Yaris) even though my brother and best friend drive one and I have tried their respective cars. Gopi went ahead and gave us a test drive, work very hard to make us the best deal, and made sure that my car was in prestine shape when I picked it up. AS far as I am concerned I was ready to buy a Yaris, BUT Gopi sealed the deal for sure. Not only will I recommend Bob Richards dealership I will also recommend Gopi as the salesperson. Thank you! Visited Bob Richards Toyota's Service Department for an oil change this week in North Augusta. Nick Faulkner did a great job of getting me in and out! 40 Minutes Max!!! I have my car serviced at Bob Richards on a regular basis. Recently I have had to replace the water pump and then had to purchase new tires. I was informed what the trouble was and made my decision as to what had to be done. This was taken care of in a timely manner as I waited and was treated very pleasantly by everyone who worked there. Mr. Stahl certainly made this a pleasant experience. More
