Service dept. says stock parts were "aftermarket" This service department thinks the stock pedals of a Fiesta ST are "aftermarket" and used that to deny selling me brake parts I didn't need after I go This service department thinks the stock pedals of a Fiesta ST are "aftermarket" and used that to deny selling me brake parts I didn't need after I got stranded near their dealership while on vacation. They had a brand new Fiesta ST parked out front to check. They claimed at first that I needed new brake lines to unstick a caliper for my brake job. Then they went and said the repair was taking longer than expected because it was *actually* my "aftermarket" pedals. Hm. Funny. I didn't know that Ford Motor company was considered aftermarket on a Ford. Oh, and they damaged my brake switch and a boost hose and make my car unsafe to drive. When I got home after my trip the local dealership has me almost back to normal. So good to know I paid them 600$ to have a car that is only slightly worse than before..... More
