★☆☆☆☆ If you live in Grand Junction and are considering purchasing a vehicle from Modern Classic Motors, please read this. My wife and I purchased a 2019 Ram 3500 after buying a fifth-wheel considering purchasing a vehicle from Modern Classic Motors, please read this. My wife and I purchased a 2019 Ram 3500 after buying a fifth-wheel RV from them to travel the country full-time. Before the purchase, we specifically explained exactly how this truck would be used. We were told it only needed relatively minor repairs, new tires, a windshield, spark plugs, and other small items. At no point before signing were we told the engine required complete replacement or had suffered catastrophic damage. About one week after signing, but before we ever took possession, we were suddenly informed the truck needed a complete engine replacement because the "whole engine was severely damaged." We immediately asked to unwind the deal. Modern Classic Motors refused, assuring us everything would be taken care of, that the truck "wouldn't give us problems for years," and that we "should be grateful." More than a month later we were told the truck was ready. The moment it pulled up there was an obvious knocking noise coming from the engine. We questioned dealership staff and were told that was simply "how a 3500 sounds." Relying on those representations, we accepted delivery. Approximately 800 miles later, while towing our fifth-wheel through Oregon, the truck suffered major mechanical failure. Two independent repair facilities identified rod knock almost immediately and were shocked we had made it that far towing a 15,000-pound RV. For months I repeatedly requested Modern Classic Motors' final repair order. They refused to provide it until I ultimately had to pretend to be a mechanic working on the truck. Ironically, that repair order documented unresolved mechanical and safety concerns and stated the truck needed to return for additional repairs. More than $20,000 in additional repairs have since been approved, with additional known repairs still remaining nearly a year later. We have continued making payments and insurance on a truck we could not reliably use while stranded hundreds of miles from home. Throughout this entire process we tried to resolve this professionally and privately. On one recorded phone call, owner Trish stated that "this never should have happened" and that her salesperson "never should have said what they said." After nearly a year, we have formally served Modern Classic Motors with a settlement demand and are preparing to pursue litigation if a fair resolution cannot be reached. Our advice is simple: have every vehicle independently inspected before purchasing, request every repair record in writing, and never rely solely on verbal representations. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend doing business with Modern Classic Motors. More
If it could be zero stars it would be! Bought what we that was an American made car only to find out after signing the contract it was from Canada! Didn't even make the first car payment a Bought what we that was an American made car only to find out after signing the contract it was from Canada! Didn't even make the first car payment and it was leaking oil. USA Jeep won't touch it so now we're stuck with Modern Classic as our repair service. They offered to pay for 2 years service for the "confusion" but when we went to pick up we were charged $100 "deductible" Watch out people! Our first experience with them was great! This one...may be going to court to sue for selling us a lemon...a Canadian lemon at that! So disappointed Won't be referring them anymore More

Offered me 300$ as a trade in for my 2015 Nissan Murano PLATINUM, technology package. Zane tried to hide that fact and make it sound like he would be giving payoff on what we owed (3k) for it. He was so go PLATINUM, technology package. Zane tried to hide that fact and make it sound like he would be giving payoff on what we owed (3k) for it. He was so good with his words in deceiving us that my husband didn’t understand why I was upset. 300$ for a vehicle we’ve been paying 500$ per month for 7 years on is the biggest insult. A junkyard would offer more. The lowest trade in value, for the poorest condition is 5k. Three hundred dollars! More

I just wanted to bring a recently purchased car to your attention. My son and myself came on April 19th and purchased a 2021 Chevy Trax and worked with Branden. At the time as a returning customer I was attention. My son and myself came on April 19th and purchased a 2021 Chevy Trax and worked with Branden. At the time as a returning customer I was pleased with the service and the help we received due to the circumstance we had. Here is where things take a turn for the worse. 54 days later on June 12th we took the vehicle into our shop for an A/C issue and believed that with the warranty it would be covered and the A/C would be fixed. The shop did require a full diagnostic on the vehicle as expected and found several issues with the vehicle leading to $7000.00 in repairs and at least 15 hours of labor. We did contact the warranty and most of the repairs are covered, but my concern is why was this vehicle not inspected and fixed prior to putting it on the lot? We have been without a vehicle for a month now and with any luck we may get the vehicle back this week. This was my son's first purchase on a vehicle and I came back to you due to the success I had in the past with my 2 other vehicles. This whole experience has been a nightmare and we still have to come up with at least $1000.00 to cover the rest of the repairs. We contacted the dealership twice to discuss the issue at hand and the cost of the repairs. After no response we paid $936.00 and then found out that was not the cost for all the repairs they wanted another $1100.00. Thank goodness they at least were correct about the warranty they said we had otherwise we would have been out $7000.00. We will never go back!! More
Complete Scam—Avoid This Dealership at All Costs This was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had buying anything—let alone a car. If I could give negative stars, I would. The customer serv was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had buying anything—let alone a car. If I could give negative stars, I would. The customer service was absolutely disgusting: rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in actually helping me. Every question I asked was treated like a burden, and their attitude made it clear they only cared about one thing—taking my money. But the real kicker? They straight-up lied about the warranty. Bold-faced, shameless lies just to close the sale. They promised coverage that apparently never existed, and now that I actually need the help they swore I’d get, they’re nowhere to be found. It’s bait-and-switch, plain and simple. This dealership doesn’t care about you—just your wallet. Buying a car should be exciting, but instead, they turned it into an absolute nightmare of frustration, stress, and regret. Save yourself the time, money, and sanity—run from this place and don’t look back. More
