I bought a Toyota truck from there and the airbag light was on,,tripp said he would fix it(its against the law for a dealer to sell a car or truck with the airbag light on),,but after finding out what it w was on,,tripp said he would fix it(its against the law for a dealer to sell a car or truck with the airbag light on),,but after finding out what it would cost he said no he would not take that big of a hit on the truck and just take it and sell it at a auction,,but the responbility layed on him,,he was the owner and by law before he cannot sell it ,,he has to fix it,,but he opted to sell it at a auction to unload it to someone else,,,his reply to the issue is ,,you bought it as is,,,,but to everyone reading this,,,that does not include anything wrong with that car or truck that you cannot get it inspected,,when it leaves that dealership,,,it should pass inspection,,,reguardless of what he has to do,,i have some friends that are dealers and all this info is correct,,,i also have informed the state attorney general of this matter as well as the nc dmv,,,,,please when you are interested in buying a car or truck,,go to a dealer that that you can trust,,one that has all these inspections done on it and gives you his assurance,,not only by mouth but in writing that you are buying a quality auto and has been checked out,,,even if you have to pay more for it,,,,you should leave that dealership knowing that you have a good auto and that you can trust that dealer,,Montgomery motors in troy is not that type dealer,,,,,IT TAKES MORE THAN A SMILE TO PROVE YOURSELF HONEST!!!!!! Had my sons car aligned, noticed later his tires were wearing down on the inside. I took it back to Montgomery motors and showed them. they apologized and took it back in to look at it. they said it was wearing down on the inside. I took it back to Montgomery motors and showed them. they apologized and took it back in to look at it. they said it was fine. Later on it the year, my son has a blow out, and a mechanic stopped and helped change the tire. The mechanic told my son it needs to be aligned, cause the inside of the tire was ate out, So I took it to a different mechanic to have it aligned. the report showed it was 1 inch out of alignment on one side, and 3/4 of a inch on the other side. It appears that the car never was aligned in the first place. I confronted Montgomery motors of this problem. They gave me the run around, and never rein-bust me any money for the tires and the new alignment some other mechanic had to do to fix the problem. So if you value your family, auto,and your money dont go to Montgomery Motors. More

THEY HAD A CAR THAT I WANTED TO BUY. MOST OF THE PAPERWORK WAS DONE BY PHONE. WE AGREED ON PURCHASE PRICE, DOWN PAYMENT AND MONTHLY PAYMENTS. THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD MARK THE CAR SOLD. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED TO COMPLETE THE DEAL BUT, BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT TIME CAME THEY SOLD THE CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE. I GUESS THEIR WORD HAS NO VALUE. More
