The vehicle appeared to be in great condi In July 2014, I purchased an older, high mileage 2001 Toyota Highlander from Morrie's Brooklyn Park Subaru. The vehicle appeared to be in great condition, especially for its age. I was given a long list of repairs that the previous owner had done prior to trading it in, which was all engine-related work. On the test drive, the car was running great and I thought I was getting a pretty good deal. I was living in Wyoming at the time, so the next day, I started the long drive back home. I made it all the way to about 10 miles away from home when the engine suddenly died. I had the car towed to the local mechanic and was devastated to learn that the engine was totally shot and would need to be replaced. At that point I figured I had been swindled and was very upset. I called and talked to the salesman, Bruce, about what had happened, and was later directed to CJ, the used vehicle sales manager. I explained what happened and he was very sympathetic to the situation. It truly seemed that both he and Bruce were genuinely surprised and disappointed at what had happened. I explained that as a member of the military, I didn't have much disposable income, and that I had already spent more than I had planned in purchasing the car. He asked how much the shop was going to charge me to put in a new engine and when I told him, he offered to help me find and install a used engine for much cheaper. I told him that I would prefer to go with a higher quality, re-manufactured engine, since the car was actually for my wife, and I wanted the car to be reliable for the frequent times when I am away from home. He was very understanding and said that he would send me a check for $2000.00 to put toward the new engine, which he did right away. I was very impressed with the way the guys at Morrie's helped us out, as they were not legally obligated to do anything since we bought the car “AS IS – NO WARRANTY”. The folks at Morrie's treated us right, and I highly recommend purchasing a used vehicle from them. More
Shopping for a new car I came into the Brooklyn Park Morries last weekend to test drive a Volkswagon Tiguan. I had called the day before to let them know that i would be com I came into the Brooklyn Park Morries last weekend to test drive a Volkswagon Tiguan. I had called the day before to let them know that i would be coming in to test drive it around noon on Saturday. When i got there it was hard to get someone to help me but when i did get someone and asked about the car it took about 20 mins for her to find out that someone else bought. I drove 45 min's to test drive this car and no one bothered to call me and let me know it was sold. So i decided to test drive a Chevy instead and when we came back from the test drive I wanted to try a Ford so he got the keys for that vehicle and said they were busy and that we could test drive it without him so we did and when we came back to ask questions and have them search for cars closer to my price range there was no one to help us, so we left and went to Morries Buffalo Ford and had a excellent experience there. I would never go back to the Brooklyn Park Morries after that experience and would not recommend it to anyone. Looks like you could use more employee's at that dealership to help your customers. I seen 2 other people get fed up with it as well and left. More

Dave Carson, one of the worst service advisors I have had my car service for a few years now at Morrie's Subaru in Brooklyn Park and the services I've received were exceptional. But this week, I wa I have had my car service for a few years now at Morrie's Subaru in Brooklyn Park and the services I've received were exceptional. But this week, I was totally blown away with the service I had with Dave Carson. He is by far one of the worst service advisors. I had made an appointment online the day before due to my blower motor making noises and arrived promptly with my extended warranty paperwork in case components and service needed would be covered under it. Before leaving, Dave mentioned that he would call me with an update. Neitherless to say, I made an appointment for 12:15pm and by 3-4pm, I still didn't get an update so I called him. In all means, that's what appointments are for. Not so I can drop off the car for the day so you take your sweet time. He stated that the tech was still working on it or did they just started working on it per his instructions and mentioned something about the blower motor may be replacing. He then ended the call with that he would contact Advantage as far as warranties goes and call me back with an update. By 6pm, I still hadn't heard back from Dave so I made another call in to him. He stated he called Advantage and mumbled off like he actually really called them. I then called Advantage and they stated that there were no inquiries from Dave or anyone besides me so he never called them in the first place. I immediately called Dave and insisted that he call them as I just got off the phone with them and they need the diagnosis info. He then mumbled off a different story that he did call them but was on hold for awhile so he decided to end the call. Is this what he calls service, lying? This is by far the worst services I've ever received and I do not plan to return to Morrie's as long as Dave is still there. More

They were the first dealership I checked out because they had a larger selection of new 2014 and 2015 Nissans, and I did not need to look any further! Being a new car buyer, I went in armed to the teeth with research and brimming with moxie, fully prepared to have one of those quintessential 'nightmare experiences' and giving myself the 'don't to be afraid to walk away' pep talk. I was very surprised when this hypothetical horror story didn't happen. Everyone was accommodating and informative, without being pushy or pressuring me. They let me take my time with the paperwork and ask all the questions I needed to and never made me feel rushed. They understood I was a working-class person who wanted to be educated on what I was paying for and why. I ended up getting a GREAT deal and leaving very satisfied. I never got the impression that I was at the mercy of anyone or being taken for a ride. Great place! More

Other dealerships we had gone to kept their hands very close to their chest, but here their cards were all out on the table. Morrie's also had the best leasing prices, and worked with us as long as it took to get the right car with the best leasing option for us. I'm happy we stopped by here on a whim! More

Two cars - Thanks Dave Petersen I was in on a Thursday and bought a new Subaru from Dave Petersen. The very next week we decided to buy a Nissan. The experience that we had with Dave I was in on a Thursday and bought a new Subaru from Dave Petersen. The very next week we decided to buy a Nissan. The experience that we had with Dave earlier had been so good that we decided to go back to him for our Nissan. I would definitely recommend Dave to my family and friends. More
