Our truck was in the shop for 5 hours from drop-off to inspection. After diagnosing the vehicle, the team provided us with a list of issues, including items that had been recently replaced/ maintained at inspection. Our trust was compromised when additional maintenance was recommended that was not due, and when we were billed twice for certain services. Furthermore, we were asked to pay for a diagnostic test that, based on the recommendations given, we now believe to be unreliable. The manager emphasized that we had signed a consent form for the diagnostic and that payment was expected. They were not receptive to discussing the reasons why we felt we should not be responsible for the diagnostic fee, particularly considering the inflated costs of repairs that were not needed and the double billing. They offered to waive the diagnostic fee if we purchased a new truck that evening, which raises concerns about whether their primary goal is genuinely assisting customers with maintenance rather than encouraging sales through inflated repair costs. If my husband did not have the expertise to assess the situation, we might have paid for unnecessary maintenance and double-charged repairs. Based on this experience, we have decided that we will no longer return to this dealership for service or vehicle purchases. More
