Bought used 23 blazer with 27 k miles from another dealer in Madison. Noticed smell from right front brake area, it was extremely hot to touch rim.Got infrared temp gun out and rotor was at 485 degrees on ri in Madison. Noticed smell from right front brake area, it was extremely hot to touch rim.Got infrared temp gun out and rotor was at 485 degrees on right side and 143 on left side.took in to have inspected for bumper to bumper warranty still in affect.showed service writer temp gun readings when pulled in was more than double like 365 degrees on right than left side. Supposedly had tech inspection done said all was at 160 degrees no problem found after 4 hours of me waiting.I worked on cars professionally for over 20years but why would I when I have a warranty.Took home popped wheel off, did my own inspection and found caliper piston boots were not installed properly to cover pistons leading to a dragging caliper which should have been found by a technician. But I’m sure one looking at it probably works harder to get out of work. The service writer should have told tech I seen with my own eyes there was a drastic temperature change More

Josh in service is Excellent and looks out for his customers. All work we have ever had done at Brennegan W.S. was prompt, satisfactory and we have never had a problem with any of their work. It is a pleasure to take our vehicles to them. Even without an appointment we have stopped and were taken in within a reasonable time. Comfortable waiting room and coffee and snacks available no extra cost. We live over 50 miles from West Salem but take our vehicles to them for oil changes and service. We also use our local dealer as both do satisfactory work-go to the one most convenient at the time, as wife doctors at Mayo and it is on the way. More

Tomorrow I will be dropping my vehicle off for the 3rd time for the SAME LIGHTS (I have paid over $3000 so far). What they have told me is that "oh, sometimes it takes a few tries before we get to the bot time for the SAME LIGHTS (I have paid over $3000 so far). Service department is literally awful. Went there for one thing that it turned into (I'm not even joking) 4 appointments where they kept breaking a different thing each time. Sure, they paid for their own mi thing that it turned into (I'm not even joking) 4 appointments where they kept breaking a different thing each time. Sure, they paid for their own mistakes the first two times, but outright refused the third time, saying it was my own fault. I didn't even drive it between appointments and was so frustrated. They quoted me at $125 to fix that last issue and I gave it up, drove across the street to another service, and paid $38. Please, just avoid their services. This is one of those classic places you hear terrible stories about: ask anyone in West Salem. The gentlemen there are very incompetent and it's very stressful to have to keep taking your car in time and time again, and never getting the full story from them. More
