Patriotic, friendly, knowledgeable, to the point.. I cannot believe the amount of work this young man did on my behalf, to get me into, not only a better car, but better financial position. Always followed up with me, kept me updated on cars coming in for sale that fit my needs and fought to get me the best rates I’ve ever had. Also had a great sense of humor, and made me feel appreciated for my service. Zeck in general seems to be a big supporter of the armed forces, which is uncommon in most dealerships located near military installations. Most like to pretend they are, but then take advantage of young soldiers who’ve never purchased a vehicle. These guys actually make sure you’re not getting a bad deal and this guy has no problem giving you his honest opinion. His father was a veteran so maybe that explains the extra push he seemed to give for me through the financing process. And the financing managers seemed to have no problem giving him the answer we needed to make the deal go as much in my favor is possible. More

First off and foremost I’ve bought over ten cars and this was the easiest buy/no brainer for me. I felt no pressure at all. I flew from Colorado and they had someone pick me up from Kansas City and drove me to the dealership in Leavenworth Kansas. This dealership is awesome and I love the fact they they extended their vehicles for sale to the Lower 48 states and not just Kansas. I am in awe still that I bought my dream truck and even better that it was no hassle at all. Olivia was also great; she handles the internet sales She stayed in touch with me and didn’t pressure at all. She also worked with me even though I was out of state and I appreciate her. More

She is the only online salesperson that followed up with me routinely when I was on the hunt for a new vehicle. It took me weeks to find the right vehicle, but she consistently checked in and sent me the new inventory that fit my criteria. Upon finding vehicles worthy of looking at in person, Gavin was assigned to me that afternoon. This gentleman helped me through everything to include trades and financing; I was able to walk out that day with my new vehicle. Both of those individuals made this experience very easy for me, and my family will be returning to purchase vehicles from them in the future. I would venture to say that even when we move out of Leavenworth, we would still consider this dealership above others since they have shipping options available. Like Day and NIght My shopping experience at Zeck Ford was like night and day. During the day I stopped in at Zeck without an appointment due to an advertisement I sa My shopping experience at Zeck Ford was like night and day. During the day I stopped in at Zeck without an appointment due to an advertisement I saw. Even though the office was very busy we were seen as soon as we used the restroom. I can't say enough good things about Cole Fergus. The Zeck showroom does not use commissioned sales people so Cole's interest was in helping get us to the car that suited us, not to the one with the most advantageous position for them. Zeck's buyers had some savvy in snapping up quite a number of the used cars we were interested in and the fixed-price, take-it-or-leave-it pricing certainly seemed competetive or better than what else we had seen. A 5 Star experience. Then, after we made the purchasing decision the sun went down and we got the night side of the experience. Most of the paperwork was standard and simple. Then we went to the "Finance Office". We have a good credit rating so I didn't expect any difficulties there and indeed the bank they chose gave us a perfectly competetive rate. It just took us a long time to find out what that rate was. After a few standard paper signings the finance officer brought up out car ad on the big screen tv and pointed out features. He scribbled some figures on the back of a pieces of paper (and I do mean scribbled). "These are the important numbers to remember" he said. Indeed, because nobody was going to be reading those numbers. He sort of explained about the 50 computers in the car, but sadly I knew more about them than he did and I'm no expert. He finally turns the paper over and there is a list of coverages. OK, I get it. He is finally after 20 minutes starting to talk extended warranty. He highlights coverages and explains coverages. Then finally he points to the bottom of the column: 3.84% @ 72 months. I can get a service contract for 4% of the car price for 6 years? I'm in! No, that wasn't it, but we had to drag out of him what that number was. He was proposing bundling ths warranty into our car loan (that 3.84 was the interest rate we hadn't seen yet). "It's only 60 dollars more a month", he said. What he did was to take our 60 month loan we had requested, bundled in this contract with an undisclosed present value, and added a year onto the loan. That "only 60 dollars a month" amounts to just shy of $9000 actual dollars out the door for me. This was at best obfuscation and it brushes up pretty hard on being deceptive. Even after I told him no he tried a reduced package and I told him to quit trying to upsell me. Without that 30 minute ordeal the rest of the paperwork was pretty easy. But the backroom torture chamber thing just isn't in keeping with the easy way the front office works. More
