We sat down and discussed a particular vehicle I was interested and soon after, we took a test drive. I never felt rushed and the whole process was very smooth. Dealing with Mellissia and Zeck Ford was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I have had. Most of the time, it is painful and stressful but Mellissia was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us upfront that as a sales consultant he is not paid on commission and he worked with us to get a vehicle that we needed. At no point did we feel like we were being persuaded to buy a vehicle from the dealership. As newcomers to the US we had problems securing a loan for the vehicle but the dealership was prepared to let us drive the vehicle as the financing was being worked on. I am sure that some dealerships would have given up on us as it took about a week for our bank to approve our auto loan application. Thanks to Ray and Zeck Ford for being a dealership with a human face. Now I understand why you call yourself the 'undealership'. All the staff that we interacted with were friendly and made us feel welcome. More

Not just painless, actually enjoyable! A couple of weeks ago I made my second used car purchase from Zeck Ford after being recommended by the Store Manager of the Firestone store I use/love A couple of weeks ago I made my second used car purchase from Zeck Ford after being recommended by the Store Manager of the Firestone store I use/love (95th & Nall, Overland Park). All the good things he said about the dealership were true during my first experience in June 2014 and most recently. My salesman, Steve Courter, was "the luck of the draw" the first time I went but I had such a great experience with him then, I sought him out again. What makes Zeck so great? Wonderful selection with detailed online listings so good the car I was interested in online was the one I bought both times. Straightforward pricing, is what it is and sales personnel are not on commission so you are not dealing with hidden agendas. Yes, I have to spend 40 minutes driving there but it is a pretty drive and so worth it. Any service I need done that requires a longer than wait time, they provide a loaner car. I did take my previous car in for a couple of recall items so I also have the experience with the service department which is also great. Doesn't take much to see the employees like their jobs and are happy to be there. The only negative I will mention, which won't stop me from going back, is the salesroom atmosphere which is high energy and upbeat ... good. How they partially achieve that is with a sound system with really heavy bass (you feel it in your chest) and way too high a volume ... bad. Buying a car is not a 15 minute process so by the time I finally got out of that room into finance I had a pounding headache. I also have tinnitus in one ear, so it really ramped that up for days. I only include this in my review so hopefully the management will consider a less "rock concert" feel and more background energy. AND it will not stop me from returning. Next time I will have ear plugs just in case! Last but not least, as a woman, I have been to far too many places involving cars (sales and service) where I have been treated as "stupid little woman" (one Ford dealership very near me in Overland Park). Zeck Ford is a place anyone will be welcomed and treated with consideration and respect. Just go! More
