great experience had a bad experience buying my first car up in iowa. looked around and purchased a used dodge ram from zeck ford a week ago. my wife and i had a great had a bad experience buying my first car up in iowa. looked around and purchased a used dodge ram from zeck ford a week ago. my wife and i had a great experience. mark atkinson was our salesman and he was great. didn't pressure us to buy right then and let us test drive multiple trucks around leavenworth. he was not there at the time we bought the truck, but he was the reason we went back and purchased it. going into the purchase i didn't like the non-negotiating bottom price, but the price was fair and made it a lot quicker experience. i like the lowest bottom pricing they do. the sales/financing staff was great as well, very laid back and tried to give us the best deal- and i think we got it. the whole "not a dealership" attitude that everyone had really left an impression on me. i felt comfortable. I'm don't like making big purchases but i never felt like i was getting screwed over at zeck ford. we are not planning on getting another vehicle for a while, but we will look at zeck ford first. the only knock i have against my experience was i bought a used ram and it was 30 miles away from being out of gas. i would think they would have filled it up for me while i was financing, but oh well its not the end of the world i will highly recommend them to my friends. Even though I didn't buy the car here, I recommend the staff I was looking at a 2013 Ford Focus Electric. Fun to drive, liked how souped up it was. Wound up purchasing a Leaf at another dealer (I'll be hauling a bit more in the trunk than the FFE can fit, quick charge port, got a really good financing deal), but the test drive and experience with the staff at Zeck was phenomenal. Way more relaxed, comfortable, and respectful than even some other Ford dealerships that I've been to. Highly recommended. More
