What we found when My friend and I traveled to Zeck Ford from Kansas City, MO to look at used C-Maxes after a very good experience at Legends Toyota. What we found when we got to Leavenworth was dealer like no other. I thought that with so many employees we would be surrounded with hungry salespeople. What we found was a friendly and low-pressure staff. Our "personal shopper," Gavin, is a great young man who made both my friend and myself feel comfortable with looking and buying a vehicle. He showed us two C-Maxes, explained why they were priced so well and helped in every way. I was even allowed to take the vehicle home for the weekend so my wife could drive it. We returned to Zeck on Monday morning to purchase the vehicle. This is where the experience became not so great. We arrived at the dealership around 10:30am and it took nearly 21/2 hours to pay for the vehicle, a cash sale. First there was a mis-communication about how I could pay for the vehicle which sent me to my bank's local branch. While I was finishing the paperwork and paying my vehicle was taken to get washed and the interior cleaned, which shouldn't have taken very long. It took over an hour. We should have been out of the showroom in an hour instead of over two hours. When our car was ready, Gavin helped sync my phone and showed some other electronic features of the vehicle. He was very helpful throughout and made sure I knew I could call him for anything. More
