Isaiah, our sales guy, was amazing. Very professional, honest, friendly. He listened and understood what we wanted. The closer that got to our table, Devon, not so much. He spent hours gaining our trust, bargaining deals on our behalf, pushed us to our absolute limit on the payment we could make. We go into the office to sign the paperwork and guess what, Devon lied. He promised things that weren’t included in the price. We specifically asked him what was included in the final monthly payment, he detailed it out for us only to find out nothing was included. We were ready to walk out on the deal, his manager saved the deal by at least including the Gap insurance at no additional cost. We were ready to walk out, requested our deposit to be refunded. Horrible! Crazy thing is if he was honest with us, we would’ve been ok with nothing extra included and adding the cost of the gap insurance. But instead he was so desperate for a sale that he felt he needed to lie to us. We would definitely buy again from Isaiah but Devon better be out of the building when we’re there. We want nothing to do with him or the type of service he offers. I personally work in a sales driven business and there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it. Kudos to Isaiah and the finance guy. We had a great experience working with Victor. He was very helpful. We also met with Anthony in the finance department and that was also a good experience. The only thing when we met with Anthony and he told us about the extended warranty I don’t think he made it very clear. When he was explaining the additional cost, both my wife and I thought he was saying that it would be an additional $11k (over and above our payment of $9500.00) which we couldn’t afford. After my wife and I got home and we were talking more we decided that he meant it would be $11k instead of the $9500.00. I called Anthony Saturday morning and asked him about it and he confirmed that we were correct. I asked if it was still possible to pay the difference and get the extended warranty. He said he would check with the manager and would let us know. Hopefully he and the manager can allow us to purchase the extended warranty. I rated the explanation of vehicle financing process and final vehicle pricing average because of the above situation. I’m hoping that we can purchase the extended warranty so that I can change the rating to very good. Thank you More
I have been a loyal customer at Moss Bros Toyota Service Dept since 2010 & have serviced 3 Toyota vehicles there. My Dad even bought 1 vehicle there at Moss in 2020. I have always been serviced consistently by Steve Atencio until he left the company. After that, I was serviced by different staff every visit. This last service on 8/23/2025 was by Tony Padillo. I had an appointment on 8/22/2025 at 11:10am with Becca, but she wasn't available, so Tony helped me. Tony was nice & reset my oil change reminder message. The service was to diagnose and fix an "Engine Service Required" error message, which you cannot reset. My RAV4 was kept for 2 days from 8/22/2025 to 8/23/2025. I understand staff are super busy, but I didn't get a call on the diagnosis on 8/22/2025 at all. I had to call around 4pm on 8/22 to inquire what's going on & was informed the water pump needs to be replaced, but Parts department was closed, so we need to get it next day on 8/23. My husband & I drove to see Tony to understand the issue on 8/23 morning. He said it will be done by end of day 8/23 and his shift ended at 6pm. When we picked up the car and paid, Tony couldn't release the receipt because Parts put a warranty message on it & would need their approval, but Parts department was closed already. He said he would email my receipt to the email address on file & I wrote down my email address on a card for confirmation. As of today 9/5/2025 4:42pm PST, still no receipt. I'm deeply disappointed because I believe the team can do better and had done better. I'm sorry to say it was my last service at Moss for all my vehicles, thank you for your services. More
