Repair Work Transmission Tube and Dip Stick We had flown into California from Mississippi to work on our ranch and found the transmission dip stick and tube had come out of the transmission.We t We had flown into California from Mississippi to work on our ranch and found the transmission dip stick and tube had come out of the transmission.We took our Yukon into Motor City and Jeremy Beck the service advisor and the entire staff got our Yukon repaired very quickly. We were able to get our work on the ranch completed in a timely manner. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone. The staff is very friendly and efficient. More

Timely service Motor city has a great online appointments number setting app. I am able to ask for my service advisor ( Jeremy Beck) which I enjoy working with. They Motor city has a great online appointments number setting app. I am able to ask for my service advisor ( Jeremy Beck) which I enjoy working with. They get you right in and out. I like that they take pictures of your vehicle so there is documentation of its condition when it is brought in. I have not seen remnants of service people in my vehicle when I get it back ( such as grease on doors, carpet or seats and no scratches to the interior or exteriors). This is important to me as I try to keep my vehicle looking new and feel it should not be in worse shape then when I brought it in. I have found this to be true at other dealerships I have visited in the past. Keep up the good work! More
Poor Service I purchased my Terrain at Motor City (traded in an Acadia also purchased at Motor City). With one exception I have had all maintenance and service per I purchased my Terrain at Motor City (traded in an Acadia also purchased at Motor City). With one exception I have had all maintenance and service performed by Motor City. I have complained about the engine noise/knocking several times. The last oil change I had done at Motor City I was told that the Terrain was a quart low and there was no longer a knocking. The next oil change I had done by a mechanic (this is the only service not performed by Motor City). The vehicle has continued to burn oil. Last month when the check engine light came on I took the Terrain back to the same mechanic and was told it was the Catalytic Converter and the manufacturer was responsible for repairs. When I brought the Terrain to Motor City I was treated in a less than welcoming manner. I was not allowed alternate transportation until the following day. We were not contacted when the repairs were complete. After calling to inquire about the status my husband picked up the car just before 5:30. Literally while driving away the check engine light came back on. This was in Friday, so once again we returned the car on the following Monday. When we asked about the oil consumption we were told that we would have to have an oil change done by Motor City and then bring the vehicle back after 1000 mile to have the oil checked and recorded. After about 300 miles the vehicle was a full quart low. We check the oil on a weekly basis. I am angry and disappointed with the treatment I have received. It seems pretty obvious that Motor City or perhaps GMC does NOT stand behind their products. More
