Asked for a CASH deal and received a written proposal which included a $2K incentive; email was clearly labeled CASH PROPOSAL. When I showed up to sign the paperwork and put down a deposit I was told I needed to fill out a credit appplication and make a minimum of 4 payments to get the incentive. That would have triggered about $570 in interest costs to me. I asked why a cash deal needed payments and interest and got the “let me talk to my manager” line. Jay came back with 2 payment plans from his manager (maybe Tony?). Complete bait and switch. These guys are unethical and fit the used car salesman stereotype to a T. I walked out. Don’t let the suits and environment fool you. It’s not about the money, it’s working with ethical people. How can you trust a dealer that tries to screw your over right out of the gate? BMW is a premium brand and this is how they treat their customers? More
