Hello, Please accept our sincere apologies for how you felt on this visit. We are concerned & have addressed this with those present at the time of your interaction. None of whom witnessed what you have described. Though it is correct he was trying to provide you with information on what charges would be to diagnose the vehicle, this needed your approval to perform. It is also true the factory warranty had expired, therefore the diagnosis time would be the customer's responsibility. This would be the case with any extended warranty. The customer has to authorize the diagnostic technician's time. It is only if the issue is a covered component (of an extended warranty) that the diagnosis time is covered once the details are turned into the extended warranty and approved. The process always starts with a discussion of these facts. Unfortunately, you did not want to approve those requirements so we were unable to begin the process. Where the car came from, and whom owns the car is not relevant in this case. We also have a vast diverse employee & client base. We hope that these details provide you with some peace of mind on your concerns & we thank you for the opportunity to address. Sincerely, The Motorwerks BMW Team
